How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
There's lucky items all over the place and it's about repeated misfortunes. Gameplay-wise, the more coins you have, the luckier you are which can prevent traps from going off.

Great game, but it gets a bit repetitive over time even with the small differences in the level. The graphics are definitely it's stronger aspect, they look really nice.

A great platformer, and the game feels so complete — and that after just 10 days. Really well done, I had a lot of fun!

love the character design and overall polish. music did get a bit repetitive after a few levels, would have been nice to have a couple of tracks and alternate, or have the music dynamic by area type.
very playable. great work

A very solid platformer that does a lot with only a few things on screen at a time.

I quite liked the used of positive/negative space and color when entering the cave with the bat creatures. I somewhat wish there was some other audio music loop that played after I reached the top of the tower each time just to have a break from the main loop and signify the level completion, but overall a very solid entry.

I liked watching the pudgy cat walk through obstacles while being completely and utterly unbothered.

Wonderfully polished! Absolutely adorable! The character designs are exceedingly charming, and the core abilities are multipurpose without being overbearing. The soundtrack is also pretty cool!

Some enemies and obstacles were a bit hard to see in dark backgrounds, but that might have been intentional.

Fantastic! Great work!

Mhm! If you mean those bat enemies in the caves? Yah! That's very intentional. The cave's gimmick is that it is hard to see. The torches help but the later levels have less light.

The concept of the level being the same layout with more bad luck is really cool. Especially finding new like the cave. Agree with the below comment, that lucky coins was lost. Maybe add a money cat meme :'D

Congrats on a great gamejam game!

Fantastic game crazy that this was made in 10 days really good work. I love the pixel art for the player character looks and all the enemies. I just read the description and I didn't know about the mechanic where if you hold on to the coins it makes you luckier. I should have conserved my ammo more.

I love everything about it, the graphics and how you can change the color, the sound and music, the level getting bigger and bigger.

The theme was a little lost, what with the coins. I suppose it's not communicated at all in the game.

Yah, I'll agree that the luck system isn't shown off or explained too well. There was plans for a help screen that got shelved last minute. I'll likely add one in the future but even then it probably won't be conveyed well. I'll be thinking of something though.

Interesting premise, falling over and over and adding new stuff to the same level. Very solid platforming, and the character designs are super cute!
