Oh that was a good little star! :) Story doesn't meander around and goes straight to the point which I appreciate haha! I feel like you wanted to do a lot more with this but ran out of time, I hope you get a chance to finish it off since I liked what I saw :)

How does your game fit the Magical Girl Genre?
This game loosely fits the Magical Girl Genre as the protagonist of the story is a commoner with no powers, who then ends up in a contract with a magical creature granting them magical powers. I say 'loosely' because the power acquisition occurs at the end of this game.
Which theme(s) do you pick?
Rising Revengeance and Snake Eater - but mostly the 'Revenge' and 'Snake' parts.
How does your game fit those theme(s)?
It fits into the themes because they are major story aspects to the game. I saw the theme of Revenge and thought of an old story outline I had written which focused heavily on the revenge aspect. Turning the protagonist into a magical girl through the use of a magical snake was inspired by the jam itself.
If you follow any of the optional challenges, elaborate as you like.
None.
Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
All assets were made during the jam. Two assets are from 3rd parties, but all other assets in game were made by my team and me. A little game design, concepting, and storyboarding was likely done a little before the jam started.
