Hello, I'm curious if the game needs, or requires to have taking care of virtual pets. Would a game, Pokemon-like for example, focusing more on adventuring or doing other stuff with virtual pets be allowed in this Jam too?
Hi. The care-taking feature is meant to be the central aspect of the game. Like in the spirit of old Tamagotchi games. A pokemon game would have a focus more on combat and exploration, so it would not really be suitable in this jam.
