This is soooo good! There are some parts that can be polished, but for a 1 month jam this is really well made!
The final boss though... and here I thought Silksong was hard D:
pretty peak honestly very nice animations and nice platforming and stealth mechanics were pretty good!! boss fight was nice and challenging i thought the fight was well designed!! I liked the difficulty of the game was quite nice!!!!
i'm glad you liked it, thanx!
I really like the graphics!!
This game's artstyle is amazing. I love the colours for the main character and the background design. It was amazing until the very last boss fight.
My speedrun timer was 1:05... No comment about the detections
This was really good! As a Mega Man enjoyer, I really enjoyed the platforming and the presentation. I think the big focus on stealth was also a really interesting approach. If there's anything negative for me to point out, it's that there was a text box that opened up at one point but it was completely empty. But other than that, amazing work!
Thanx a lot! The game needs a lot of polishing and tweaking, but I'm glad you like what's been done so far.
The art and animation is great and the sound effects, story, characters etc. fit very well, super well executed stuff
The gameplay honestly felt very unrefined though; collision shapes seem to be very gratuitously large(to the point to where getting hit feels quite counter-intuitive/unfair), a lot of the elements and segments of the game felt kind of time-wastey(like having to wait for the right log spawns, stealth segments being difficult/counter-intuitive to avoid and the alert enemies just kind of being a little obnoxious honestly) - I'm not sure what the tool you're using for development is and how it functions but it definitely feels like it needed a lot more tweaking/playing as you go (like running the game, trying out movements/areas, feeling how it felt for you and adjusting etc. and really tweaking things by feel)
The game does seem somewhat tough(intentionally so) but I wonder how much people are getting frustrated with the design elements of the gameplay over some of the intended challenge - it really sucks to admit I didn't really have a lot of fun with the game because it's beautiful and I wanted to enjoy it so much 🙁
A really bittersweet experience and review unfortunately; I wish this was just gushing about your excellent art or the story but what I experienced with the gameplay really stood out quite negatively
Thanks for the feedback. I really didn't have much time to balance the game, which resulted in a high level of difficulty and some impractical mechanics. I intend to adjust these things after the jam, so all feedback is welcome. Thank you very much. :)
Awesome game! Love the art and color palette. The duck animation in particular is really nice. The audio is good too.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll be posting an improved version of the game soon.
Really great game! I just wanted to give some kudos for the small movement animations for the player. From the crouch, to the spring in the jump, some nice attention to detail there!
Thanx a lot for liking these details! :3

Notes:
Thanx a lot for the feedback. I haven't had time to balance the challenges, but I plan to adjust them gradually. The paralyzing attack only serves to temporarily knock out enemies (it's pacifistic in that it doesn't deal direct damage), but the focus is actually on stealth. Thanks for the suggestions.
Art and audios are really good. Gameplay is great just that the crouching is a bit delayed. The final fight I also didn't know to hit the gunners on the side, thought you had to hit the hand or head or something.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I made the gears flash at the beginning of the boss, but I might need to make it more obvious that that's the weak point. I'll think of something.
The presentation and polish is pretty incredible, but I was rather let down by the difficulty. The concept is executed well, and I love the artstyle and sound design, but the gameplay I found frustrating more than fun. The room for error getting around most obstacles could do with some tweaking. Making the glowing orbs smaller in key areas would go a long way. Overall though this is impressive and I wouldn’t be suprised if this ended up as one of the highest rated for the jam.
Thank you very much for the feedback. I haven't had time to work on game balance and better ways to use mechanics and features. I intend to adjust these things slowly in a new version.
The window for success in a lot of the stealth sequences seemed too narrow imo, especially considering you get sent back to the beginning upon death. But the game looks phenomenal and feels great to play. Love the character designs as well.
Thank you very much! I plan to make adjustments to the difficulty balance and checkpoint placement to avoid so many issues after a character's death. Thanks for the feedback.
The game has a cute lovely art style :) We had a similar idea/name for our project and were meant to be doing a pacifist and abilities too for our jam too but then time escaped us xD Good job for managing to get all of yours into the game in such a nice package :)
My only criticism would be some more checkpoints would be good!
I'm glad you liked it. Take your time finishing your game, I'm sure it will be amazing! I almost didn't finish mine in time, and it had some bugs and issues, but I plan to include it in Metroidvania Month, so I'll make some adjustments to improve it. I'll consider adding more checkpoints. :)
I definitely will later today! (Currently past 1am.. Need sleep.. )
