I love it (Ever wanted to skate around the world, dodge giant cacti, and enjoy the first official Game Jam game with no music or sound effects?) As for the game, it’s super addictive time and attempts fly by without you noticing :D you just want to keep improving

Have you ever wanted to skate across the world, have you ever wanted to avoid comically large cacti
Finally, somone who gets it 😅
This was a unique and interesting mechanic which also implemented the theme quite well im my opinion. It is a little basic, but actually a little addicting when you get into the flow of it, I ended up playing many more times than I thought i would because I wanted to beat my score. Its one of those games where if there was a leaderboard I would keep going till i managed to get on it.
I thought this was really unique as a game and a great job for your first official game jam! I know you know because you commented it, but with some sound effects and music this could be a really solid micro game like super hexagon.
Great job, thanks for the submission!
Love how you used the theme, game could use some instructions however - I thought I was supposed to jump over the Cacti for a while. I'm also not really sure how you earn cool points other than going really fast and then stopping, some text above the screen would be useful.
The art is really nice, and the gameplay, while simple, works effectively. A little unfair, but random spawning can be a pain to do so it's understandable (to me at least)
On a quick side, your personal attitude is excellent. You've said this is your first game jam, which is impressive and a great achievement. I strongly suggest you make another project using your attitude, but making it about a universal experience, such as work. You'll do wonders with that
