As it stands, this seems like a nice starting point for an incremental game, though the game loop present here is fairly short, and I'd want to see more come out of it given more time. On the other hand, the assets look pretty nice! Good work. Keep making awesome stuff!

I think there is the base for something great here: I like the vibes, the look of the game and the design of the characters! I'm sure there are plenty of ways it can be expanded. And, I'm not sure what the frog is doing there, but I like that it's here 😄

Developer

hey thanks for playing! I'm definitely planning to expand this once ratings are done, so keep an eye out for updates with new features to give the game a bit more Game :D

I think you got a good starting point: a good art style, a promising gameplay loop, but you failed in expanding it, more than a number and a sack, maybe an incremental element would be great for this game, it gets repetitive very fast. I miss a sprinting button on this fps character controller, and shadows on the trees, more game juice would work great, like you did with the trees you should do with the bushes too, tween their scale to a very small size and only after this make them invisible.

it's a good game, but it could be greater.

Just keep going!

thanks for playing! I definitely have ideas on how I could make this one better outside of the given time frame (e.g. adding upgrades for the player and more alternative ways to earn leaves). I'll certainly be improving it once the Jam is done, so keep an eye out :D

I'm on Mac and I don't quite know how to run the Mac version unfortunately. Linux and Windows are executables, but the Mac version is just the folder structure itself

Developer

ah yeah there seemed to be a problem with building to Mac where I needed some sort of developer key, I'll look into it further and see if I cam fix it

Humm, that might be the notarization thing. I don't think you need the app to be notarized, but I recall doing an extra step for building for Mac, not sure what it was :(

I found out how to export it properly, now I'm just waiting for permission to edit my submission after the deadline, so should be all good soon :D

Awesome, look forward to playing it!

Developer

Hello! Should be fixed now if you'd like to give it a try :D
