Cool game but im pretty confused about what to do
I was going for a "You learn about the objectives as you fail approach" but some of the signposting was a tad too rushed unfortunately.
Thank you for checking it out!
Cool game with a slick movement system that gave me ULTRAKILL VIBES - super cool!! A steep learning curve with the parkour bit, but one that can be overcome with GITTING GUD! The monster dash you unlock at the end feels butter smooth, and makes getting my REVENGE extremely satisfying!!
I like the direction, with more time this could be great.
Pretty cool game, I enjoyed figuring out what to do and where to go, but I kept struggling to jump up that one section. It feels very much like you have to do a speedrun, and I kept wishing for a health pickup somewhere halfway through. Took me way too long to realise how to get out of th starting area.
I really love this game, it was a little disorienting at the start - I didnt see some of the hint messages on the left before they had disappeared and I didnt realize where to go initially so the first few runs were just being shot to death repeatedly. Once I got the hang of the movement with crouch jumping and kiting enemies, each run started feeling more and more like a speedrun out of this facility.
There was one section with a skill jump which I feel could have been made a little easier, it took me some tries to understand that the environment was an intentional ramp when I would slide off it at most angles.
I also like the pacing of unlocks and the power curve is fun too. Very impressive! :)
Glad to hear you liked it!
That jump was made to be a bit tricky but also I wanted it to look "plausible" in the environment but clipping is questionable at best lol
I got a bit stuck in some areas figuring out what to do but I think for a 1 person dev team it's very impressive what you managed to achieve. The environment in particular is a real stand out - very system-shocky in a good way. I wasn't quite sure what to do about the enemies and I ended up dying a lot before being able to deal with them, but overall a nice jaunt through a (totally normal not creepy at all (I promise)) facility.
Thank you so much for checking it out!
I agree with the player guidance, really had rushed that part towards the end unfortunately :(
I'm the first person they showed the game to and honestly its not half bad. Got stuck on some tables at one point but the lighting is very well done. excited to see what else they have planned.
