- Without a tutorial, this was difficult to understand. After understanding it, it was still difficult to play and manage. It's an interesting idea though. I like having to manipulate planets to evolve them - doesn't seem like mundane task though.

This broke my brain and I struggled a lot with it. I like the idea of having to evolve a planet though. I’ve got a question though, why party hats for elves?
I suppose I should let rabbitlinkity answer about what inspired him to have the civilisation be fairies, but our main idea here was that this isn't a game where we want to focus on making production lines and where you go in the details of "sustaining" the civilisations that are born on the planets you manage.
We wanted it to be more about creating the conditions for life to evolve, and having more fun and frivolous exchanges. You don't produce food in your more green planets. a desertic planet has conditions enough to sustain life by itself, but it's inhabitants will appreciate sushi as a delicacy.
On the other hand, the greener planets will probably appreciate the spice produced on the more desertic planet.
We liked the idea of the ultimate (at least for now) goal for the player being to enable civilisation to party so hard they go hardcore into fanfic writing.
I don't know if that makes a lot of sense.
It certainly isn't a very deeply thought out lore.
It was more driven by thoughts about the mechanics of the game, and the wish to have a whimsical universe for it.
I liked it a lot!! It was quite a bit harder than I expected, and I was definitely lost at first... Once I got it figured out, it was very exciting to get an evolution! I could see it being a very rewarding and fun, but challenging game! Awesome work.
Thanks.
I'm glad you mannaged to get how it worked and enjoy it.
I do hope to make it evolve into a more finished and hopefully approachable experience
I realize the game can be quite a lot and be hard to get what to do.
So if you struggle to understand what's going on with untitled god game, I updated the game's page to give a bit more guidance on how it works/what to do and hopefully help you.
There's also a bunch of details about our design plans you can access if you're interested in our design process.
I could not really play this.
Was it a technical issue, or gameplay-wise ?
If it's in terms of gameplay, we do need to do some more balancing, as it's quite hard at the moment.
