Damn dude this game rocks (boulders included)!

I love the core game loop, slicing stuff needs to make a comeback ;) I do agree that later in the game though you are generally just sitting there waiting for a spawn of the colour you want, so maybe adding upgrades to manipulate the spawn rates would give players slightly more control over the rng.

While the building was a little buggy with the overlapping text, I adore how you can not care about the bonuses at all and just build a cute aesthetic little village (plus the reflective water was a nice simple touch).

I would've loved more of a taste of the story that you set up at the start, maybe little bits of popup text while you're building or something like that.

Anyways, incredible job and hopefully you do update this in the future!

Thanks a lot, I'm really happy how well this game was received :)

I agree with your (and others') points. I think I will make 3 updates to this game as I want to keep this project rather small.

1 - UI rehaul (I would prefer choosing what to build from a list of recipes and then placing it in proper slots in the world)

2 - fixing the mana gathering to avoid this dull waiting for the right mana moments

3 - content update with soft resets that allow you to keep meta upgrades.

Then it should be a complete experience I think

This game is beautiful...the particle effects and colors look amazing and really catch the eye. the mana collection has a puzzle feel when you're trying for combos and an all out fruit ninja feel if you just try to get everything. the building was a little buggy but fun to explore. I wish it was longer or that i could remove/replace build elements as i filled my map pretty early and reached a stalemate where I could no longer build anything. I feel like by the time i got the hang of it i had run out of options (that's not shade, I was really enjoying it and wanted to build more). Overall this was really fun and absolute eye candy as far as the art, animation, and effects go. I also like the music. I could really see this being popular with a bit more depth and a few bugs ironed out...I bet it catches a lot of attention as is! I like the whole concept and how it draws off of a lot of genres/themes to create a really unique and engaging clicker. Great job!

yay thanks a lot for the kind comment! :) don't want to promise a specific timeline but I think I'll improve upon the game in the future ;)
