Genuinely enjoyed playing this one! My only wish is that the game was a bit longer. The art style slaps! :)
Thank you!
The atmosphere was so evocative, dripping with an unsettling Gothic vibe that drew me in immediately. I loved the expansive, surreal visual style, and it was unlike anything I've seen before. Story-wise, I appreciated all the inexplicable bizarre elements that worked together in a "dream logic" type of way. I'm excited to see where Act 2 will take us!
Thank you so much!
When I was in grade school, my uncle gave us this old Mac tower computer. The monitor and the computer were one solid piece and the monitor was the size of a postcard and it only showed images in monochrome green. The only thing on this computer was a horror adventure game about exploring/escaping some haunted house. I couldn't figure it out and kept dying, never making it past the first few rooms. I was filled with equal parts frustration and wonder. I think about it every once in a while and wish I had been able to figure it out and finish it.
Something about this game satisfies that itch. It's a lot prettier, better written and sounds better but the pixel graphics and oppressive atmosphere are very nostalgic. I'll be looking forward to the coming chapters.
This is a lovely comment and I'm delighted I could create something that evokes that retro/cursed feel. Thank you so much!
the first act of this game was pretty cool, the story itself is interesting and i'm looking forward for the other acts in the future :)
Appreciate it, thank you!
