The art and music are lovely, however the game gets boring fast. I think it would've been a good idea to give the player a goal like surviving an entire work week since it feels pointless to continue playing right now. I also couldn't figure out why you would forward mails to anything other than the filtered mails section. Still, good work!

Developer

Well, actually every work week difficulty slightly increase, but yep, I f*cked up with this. About forwarding to other sections - every day you have a 20% chance to get a quest, and it's stated that quest mail must be resent to boss. Also there's a free coffie mail that you can forward to cats delivery and get some stamina. Actually, I planned more things like that but didn't managed to make it, along with tutorial and balancing sadly

To be fair I didn't play for that long, so my bad for not figuring out that the difficulty increases, the quest mail and the free coffee. Not being able to do stuff you want due to time constraints is a real pain, I wish you good luck on future jams!

Developer

Yep, sorry too, when I realized difficulty increase too late it was already over

Hey nice concept, nice visuals as well. There are some typos but that is okay for a jam. I felt the emails are too repetitive though.

Developer

Well, I managed to make only 20 emails, some of them made really close to each other for game to be harder. Maybe after the jam make more, but can't say for sure

I didn't really understand how to play this game, you need to do a tutorial

Hi! Sorry, I didn't managed to do in-game tutorial in time. But I made a tutorial on the game page
Summary: read mail, if you think it's spam message hit flag, if it's work mail - forward(arrow) to "filtered mail". Some mails can be forwarded to other chats,  but it's stated in-game.
Also you have energy meter - just get your mouse on cat and it will be shown(may be buggy in web version, but still must work). While doing mails it will decrease. Go to sleep or order some food to regain it. Also you have a certain number of mails you have to do before going to sleep: also point on a cat to see it

Sorry again, maybe fix this after gamejam(I just realized I need a tutorial 15 min before deadline)

The concept in itself is great and I like how it looks a bit like papers please, but I feel like there is no real way to tell what to do with what mail, and when you make a mistake, it’s not quite clear why its a mistake. Other than that, the game seems quite polished and the theme and object are well implemented!

Developer

Thanks! I tried making spam and working mail close to each other for game to be not too easy. But I think I made mail content(text on the bottom of the interface, representing reading the thing) clear enough

I was a little lost at first, but once I got the hang of it, pretty nice! The title music is a banger, and the style's got a charm to it. I kind of wish there were more different mails to confuse you, and I'd also suggest some sound effects, but regardless, fun little game.

Developer

Heh, thanks! I tried making more difficult mails, but the main trouble was to not make it too difficult. About sound effects - I just ran out of time and did't managed to add them
