Submitted or not, we should all be proud

I’ll be real, I wasn’t able to put something together.

I attempted to solo-dev a game demo. I had a working draft of the story, mechanics, and music but definitely fell short when it came time to finishing out dialogue, visual, and tie it all together. It was an awesome experience and a lesson on multiple fronts.

This joy and frustration I feel staring at the submission page is nothing if not motivating. A blatant failure, a massive learning experience, and, most of all, the push I needed to try something. It was the most fun I’ve had in a while.

10/10 would do it again next year or in a few months. Hopefully if this happens again next year the demo of this game will be done and I’ll have something to show for it :P

Strangers or not, we should all be proud of each other for trying to grow as creatives.

Congratulations to those who were able to submit something.

To those of us that didn’t get there, let this fuel that fire.

See you next Jam!

I missed the upload window by 5 minutes, but this was my first jam and was an eye opener for sure! Hope to see you at the next one! Cheers!
