I'm really bad at avoiding everything but hey, was a fun ga,e and a very creative idea!

Hello! I played your game for a little bit and I was unfortunately not the best..(i got sick after a bit ;-;) I have to double down on a few options about sensitivity, but most of all I think a little dot crosshair would help immensely for people who have really bad perception at what exactly we are pointing at!
I see you are aware of the tutorial with your comment in this section (it's how i found the controls lol)
one bug i bumped into as well was that anytime I was carrying a glass I would walk backwards? Idk if it's just a me thing but definitely something to check out to prevent motion sickness :P
otherwise I love the chibi art, the premise; it's got some potential ^^ I might try again when the polished version pops in because it gives me those fastfood cooking games vibes and I LOVE those. I'd love to give this another shot <3
Hey I appreciate you giving the game a shot!
Sorry you started not to feel well after a while.
We definitely have a lot of bugs to hash out. I appreciate you taking the time to write out this thorough comment, it will help a ton in debugging and making the game more accessible. The cursor, tutorial, and mouse sensitivity will definitely be fixed in a future patch.
as for motion sickness, my brother also gets it while playing certain games, so I'll be sure to consult with him and the team to see if we can come up with some ways to make it more accessible.
Thanks again for trying out our game!
I don't think I'm cut out to be a bartender! I knocked over too much, definitely made me laugh though. It has a certain aesthetic to it that would be nice to see fully fleshed out.
One request would be the option to turn the sensitivity up!
Also, I thought it was really cute you made a trailer video on the page for it! I haven't seen that much if at all, very nice touch!
I saw this game earlier and knew I had to play! I mean look at that cute chibi art! I'm glad this has become a passion project for your team, I would love to see what you guys can do!
Cool idea but tough to play in its current state, as I'm sure ya'll are aware. Wishing the best for when you start updating it again!
We see you guys saying a tutorial would be nice - while we will implement a tutorial level in the game post-jam, here's a quick run-down of controls which will hopefully help you navigate our game better.
Thanks to my team member Omniarchivist for writing this down!
Check Orders
Customer drink orders show up on the white notepad on the bar counter.
Start the Day
Press E on the large black button on the bar counter to begin.
Serve Drinks
Pick up the finished drink and walk it to the customer.
If it’s correct, they’ll take it automatically.
Pour Drinks
Hold a glass, then drop it onto the ingredient you want to fill it with.
Single-ingredient drinks only need one pour.
Movement = W A S D
Pickup/Drop/Interact = E
Move Object Forward/Back = Mouse Wheel
Rotate Object = Left Click
Scroll Orders = Left/Right Arrow
Very cozy graphics, I loved the music and the voice acting! I’d love it if you rated my game too!
Your art and concept drew me in, I can see this being an amazing game. Maybe adding a cursor on the screen and not having so many of the ingredients in one area, I struggled to sift through finding the correct one. Also maybe its because I'm a little slow, but I wasn't sure who's order was who's haha. All in all, amazing effort and I can't wait to see what you do with it!
hear you loud and clear! all are completely valid points that we recognise too. time really was tough with how ambitious our idea was.
we've written down a lot of points from here and hope you'll be willing to give us another go once the rating period is over and we'll be allowed to update the game!
Reminds me of job simulator but like others said it might've been quite a bit for a game jam. Good work regardless on what you did get done. Though I wish the movement was a little snappier.
thanks for the feedback!
this definitely became a passion project and we plan to continue the idea post-jam - hence why it might seem like a lot!! consider this more of a concept for now, lmao.
we will hopefully work on movement for an update once the rating period ends, if you would be willing to give us another shot!
I like the idea but it defiantly needed more time for refinement. As someone else said, something as little as text saying how to interact would help. Also just a personal thing but I feel like the default mouse sensitivity is too low, a mouse sens setting would've helped but its more a personal thing.
The general aesthetic is really nice, and the concept as a whole is fun.
A tutorial would have gone a long way, even just text on how to interact with the customers and hand over the drink as that aspect left me confused. It could also be a bit tedious to make the drink since it seems like I had to tap the glass with the correct ingredients.
I see the vision and with a bit of refinement could be a really cool game.
Good luck with the project and nice job so far
note from myself (and by extension, the rest of my team)
this game has quickly be come a passion project among us and we definitely got way more ambitious than the deadline allowed. we apologise for any bugs and ask that you try your hardest to see the vision we have XD
we will be updating the game over the coming year - if you did enjoy the game, please let us know!
thankyou Sean and John for the opportunity, and good luck to all entries!
