The knight characters are really cool!

As for the wall jump, it's a neat idea, but in practice I ended up just spamming jump to go straight up the same wall without ever leaving the wall or being in any danger of falling. A bit of an impulse away from the wall while "wall riding" could really help address that.

The jump for traversing platforms felt pretty slick, I did enjoy being speedy and jumping across platforms! That was fun!

Very simple platformer. Wall jumps were a bit strange. The final boss did nothing, Okay attempt at a game.

Cool platformer! There is a subtle delay for the character to be able to jump again after landing. Overall, great work!

It would mean a lot if you could rate my game too! https://fernando-ferreira.itch.io/death

I really love the concept. Some things felt a little confusing to me personally, such as where I was supposed to go (but it can be argued that the player should experiment with their surroundings and find their path). I also think that the jumping up between the two logs felt a little bit awkward. I wasn't really sure if I was supposed to go up there initially, but then managed to and realized that was the intended path. For when you fall down and land on the "spikes", I might recommend making them more visually recognizable, and also signal to the player that this was a death by making the death immediate (or an animation) with a sound effect maybe. All in all, I think what you did was good and you should keep working on the game and polish it even further! I love the voiced intro and the art direction as a whole.

Interesting concept with relatively smooth gameplay. I did struggle to get the blue one to jump off logs on the left side for some reason, but other than that it was good. Nicely done.

Developer

Odd, it shouldn't be different on one side, but thanks for playing!

Nice work!

Fun game but hard to tell where to go. Could have added some animations to the player when they’re falling and maybe some more sounds. Good job!

I am not good at platformers, so I struggled a bit with this game and couldn’t complete it, but I think that’s a skill issue on my part more than anything. I found the controls a bit sensitive and had to often make leaps of faith, not knowing where the next platforms would be. I’m sure there was a better way to climb walls, but I ended up just spamming space and slowly inching up it 😅. I liked the visuals and the intro narration (though it got cut off a little for me). I did think while playing, it would be really cool if the different coloured knights (factions?) all had different speeds, jumping mechanics, etc., so if you can’t progress, you can die until the ‘correct’ faction takes over from the most recent checkpoint. (I never encountered a checkpoint before I had to give it - I died a lot), But if there were any, maybe add some more for those of us who are platformer impaired 😅)

Yeah, the pink totems were checkpoints, I don't know if they worked, they were pretty frequent though. Also, the knights do have different abilities, I'll add what they do in the description

After serval moments of "Why am I getting teleported?" I then found a way to progress and beat the game. I find that the current game couldn't achieve what it's trying to be and it seem very far from it's goal. But there are some effort put into making this game and it's not all bad.

Developer

You're never teleported in the game, if you're going to give feedback, could you maybe be a little more specific?

Developer

Oh, wait, you regarded falling into spikes as "teleporting"??? Also, what was the game trying to be? Please inform me, I'd like to know
