I really need to brush up on my biology because my hints told me the sick organ was vital, and contained the letter D... well the only one I could find hovering over everything that was matching that description was the only remaining kidney, buuuut that was wrong. I need to go brush off my old elementary school books because I clearly can't recall all the organs in the body anymore xD Nice little macabre game. I love the little dance the plague doctor does when he gets an organ right.
A good take on "Buckshot Roulette", I really like how you've interpreted the theme of this jam. The fact that you recorded yourself (was it you?). However, the sound is a bit too overwhelming (my ears are hurting)
Such good fun, took a sec to figure out the rules, but once I had it, I could have been playing for hours. Brilliant art style and comedic timing with such a morbid concept!
This is the most satisfying game I've played so far! The audio is AWESOME, so crunchy. The loop is also very fun and creative. Very well done!

Fun! All the game is missing is something to increase the replayability and music. But you should definitely try it out!
I like how Plague Doctor often just executes the patient by grabbing its heart on an early turn. I feel like the death margin is a bit high.
I understand that you are supposed to get items and the possibility of multiple bad organs, but this was never the case.
Thanks! Yeah, I wanted to make the music, but with an hour remaining, no inspiration whatsoever, and other things to do, I decided to move on from that.
The earlier executions are so he can get items and have the advantage. It's always a good idea to start farming hearts when you still have less kills than the Doctor xd, that's why the death margin is high. That, and the items. Having only one death till you lose can happen and it is very very tense :)
I might have made a typo in the tutorial, there's only one bad organ :)
This was fun! I loved the animation of the plagueq doctor and how cocky he was. It is obviously inspired by buckshot roulette, but it has a very interesting spin on the idea, that matches the theme of the gamejam well. Overall, I think this is pretty enjoyable, even if I probably didn't get all of the items. I didn't encounter any bugs either. Nice one!
Thanks! Yeah, Buckshot Roulette was the main inspiration, although the gameplay is more like Side Effect's, I'd say. I had a lot of fun making the visual, specially dressing up as the Doctor and writing his lines :D I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing!
Great work! I really liked the game concept, though it felt like there was only one organ that was "bad" each time (wont spoil it for other players, potentially a bug). The aesthetics are lovely!
