Kudos making an actual game boy game. Good job

Thank you! I love GB Studio. It can be a bit much if you've never used it before, but if you're just getting used to making games, it's an easy recommendation.

I loved how you faked your death not once but twice. That's some smart stuff. I liked the idea!

Developer

Thank you! Glad you were into it :)

Love the story of faking your death for a heist, and the twist at the end was just the icing on top! The enemies in the jewelry store and museum were a bit ineffectual (the dogs didn't do anything except bark as far as I could tell), but it was still fun. Good job!

I really like the story. and I liked that you can find alternative routes that was great. Great job in limited time. (minor problem i wished you would put the jump button on space).

Developer

Totally. Reversing my hands (jumping with the left, moving with the arrow keys) feels foreign to me too.

Very charming, I liked the dialogue "And I just put a ring on it" made me actually laugh out loud. Nice game!

Thanks!

I speedran through the game and got the bad ending. I saw platforms like chandeliers that I could get on top of, but fell down each level. I'm assuming there's a better ending if I actually stayed on the top platforms. The game looks pretty good with the Game Boy aesthetic. Only critique I have is that it's sometimes difficult to tell whether I can pass through an object or I should stand on top of it. Still enjoyable though. :)

Thanks for giving it a shot!

(There's only one ending lol).
