I'm sorry, I may be dumb, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do here ;-;

Oh it seems like a bug I'm really sorry!!
Quest should've progressed after you used the book but seems like you already did it? Maybe you did it out of order, before watering the plant, I didn't safeguard that option^^" Otherwise it looks like a new bug that I didn't see before haha
I apologize for the inconvenience, I'll look into the issue and fix it/make harder to break
This is a lot of game for a solo dev! The selling mechanics were the highlight for me because they gave choice. I loved the artwork. My favorites was the questionable water, the little transparent soul effect on the gardens, and the characters. The ui really fit the whole aesthetic you were going for.
As someone who does solo dev, I know how much work goes into this. Very impressive scope and management!
super impressive entry, can't believe you solo dev'd this!!! The artstyle is incredible and the core loop of selling ingredients, farming new ones, and brewing potions is very engaging and keeps you on your toes as you have to balance the time spent in any one area in the name of efficiency. I also got softlocked a couple times after playing a bit unfotunately, but I think there is a lot of potential in this game. I think the pacing could also be ramped up a bit, after a good 10 minutes playing I still didn't have anything new unlocked beyond the potion room. Overall, awesome job as a solo dev, I really enjoyed my time with your game!!
Bugs aside, this game was great, art is fantastic, gameplay loop is fun, would love to see this expanded on
I feel like this game should be higher up in the most rated games. WHAT AN AMAZING GAME! The way how the theme is incorporated is so damn creative! The artstyle and gameplay reminds me of old browser flash games( in a good way). This can become a full fledged game with some improvements(UI, sound, etc). Fantastic job Mate!
For a solo dev this is so so SO impressive, I think a lil tutorial and some UI to help guide the player would improve the gameplay alot, but wow, im amazed by what you made in the small amount of time, the art is so charming and such a neat and unique game! ❤︎ I hope you develop this game further, i'd love to see how it ends up!
I love this kind of game, and I get the time constraint, it's hard so I'm giving you the feedback considering you are going to probably work on it after the jam to fix some of the issues:
- I love the content warning please never change
- There is a bug when you are talking to a costumer the other ones keep coming and the interface gets duplicated.
- The UI is confusing at times, I could not figure out how to add more plots of land or how to change the type of crop so I could not progress.
- The upgrades in the bottom I didn't knew which each did because there is no tool tip or anything in them.
That being said I love the theme and the art and I hope you fix some of the bugs because that's a game I would probably enjoy to play again!
This is cute, I like where you were going with this. Would love to see you take the time to polish it up after the jam!
Will def revisit!
GG
Amazing game, recommended by my teammate, and I can fully agree. I was SHOCKETH. There were some bugs, and pacing-wise, it could have been improved here and there. But not going to lie, I could see this being a real-real game in no-time. I am so impressed that this was made by just one person.
One thing I am wondering, what did the blue lantern do?
Amazing game! When I tell you i was SHOCKEDDDD. It was great, i had a good time, the scaling was a bit slow at the start so it was little tedious, but the beautiful art and great concept definitely made up for it. Well done!!
Glitches and sound aside, being a solo dev on this, I'd say you did pretty dang great. The mid-game was pretty hooking, and the 3 different mechanics/screens really started to hit a good balance of my attention. Also the dialogue was good, slightly surprising direction and blended into the scene well.
Loved the art and gameplay. Poor Girl!. I am also stuck at where both the customer and pink hair. :)
Overall, loved the visuals! And while I did get the "vistor stuck in the background" glitch, like you said it didn't affect any of the game play and honestly made it kinda funny, like there's this entity just chilling no matter how many people I invited to have tea. Would love to play a polished version of the game after the jam!
I really love the art! So cute! I did find a bug, at one point I had a costumer and the little girl at the same time and I couldn't really see her dialogue.
Really cool art! I wasn't able to get much going when playing on browser in Firefox, but the visuals that I was able to trigger where awesome!
