Really fun game! Only a couple of bugs with the bodies being a bit laggy at times, but nothing that ruins the game as a whole.  would love to see a longer version as the concept for a puzzle game where you have to die is really cool!

Thanks for playing, i'm glad you enjoyed ! We are looking to fix a bit the bodies and ragdolls system so thanks for the feedback !

executes the theme well, has a lot of content for how short the time we had was and is put together well. a little bland but with a bit of time spent to polish the textures and a narrator/story element I can see this being a full game.

Thank you for playing! We are hoping to push some updates out after the jam :)

SO MANY BODIES...

Developer(+1)

Just wait till further updates ;)

Your game matches the theme perfectly, and the overall completeness is really impressive. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for playing ! Glad you enjoyed !

Hell of a lot of bodies, that's for sure! Fun game! Stacking, throwing, placing, etc. your own bodies to solve the puzzles was a great mechanic and a ton of fun! I even had fun just trying to yeet the bodies as far as I could for a bit there!

Thanks for previously checking out my game, 9 Lives!

Glad you enjoyed!
Thanks for playing :D

one of the most chaotic experiences I've ever had in an indie game. This was amazing and I can't wait to see more. "Dammit, Susan...your leg is SO broken." - Oddball_Onyx

Aside from the wonky sound slider, another perfectly conceptualized game!

Thank you so much!!!

Nice game and a great take on the theme!

Developer(+1)

Thank you and loved your take too!

The intro, logo, main menu.. it all looks so professionally done :')

I loved the gameplay of using your own body for puzzles/parkour! A nice execution of the theme, well done ✨

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it

LOVE that UI!! Feels extremely professional. Love the overall aesthetic and art style but was a bit confused on how the whole body mechanic worked at first - some bodies are highlighted and others arent? It was really fun when I figured it out though! Part of the enjoyment I suppose :D Although I definitely sucked at figuring out the puzzles, I think I died over 30 times and I'm pretty sure it can be done in a lot less! Lovveee the concept with the whole freezing bodies thing though, very interesting idea!

Developer(+3)

Thank you so much! Glad you and enjoyed it and the bodies staying highlight is indeed a bug :( we are planning on posting a patch to fix all of the issues we have found!

(+1)

thanks for playing the game and thanks for the feedback!
as xx mentioned, yes the highlight being on sometimes is a bug~
also most people died around 50-80 times their first time playing for 30 is actually pretty cool!
for replays 9-20 is a common number
but you can complete the game with just 2 bodies so far~

I'm sure someone can figure out doing it with just 1 too!
again thanks for playing the game!

This fits the theme perfectly and the puzzles were really fun to solve! Also that camera with the eyeball is FREAKY!!

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much for playing!

Glad you enjoyed <3

This is such a unique take on the theme and yet it fits perfectly! Really great work, and clever puzzle design.

Developer(+2)

thank you so much stoic.fey!
after the game jam we'll be making an update so if you feel like it you can play the updates version when it comes out!

I was moving my mouse to make the camera bob its head along with the music when I accidentally clicked on the hand and heard jacks hand slap, that was a fun easter egg, hardest part for me was the 3 buttons to activate the moving platform, for some reason it wouldnt activate even though I have multiple bodies already on the button, I just kept swinging a body on the button until the platform finally moved, I like the music while going through the rooms, It was a fun puzzle with a bit of platforming game

Developer(+1)

Love that and you are the first person to mention the easter egg! If you click it enough you do get a different audio que ;)

The last puzzle is a bit unclear, we will change the level design in our future update with some QoL improvements!

Glad you enjoyed :)

Niiiice visuals and interesting take on the theme!

Thank you Val!!!

Very nice idea for a puzzle game! Definitely has a lot of potential for interesting gameplay design and the overall loop is pretty satisfying to figure out, even if it felt a bit janky at times. I also really love the aesthetic and music, that jump animation is insanely cool :)

Developer

Hi! Thanks for playing!

Can I ask what made if feel janky? We are taking all the issues and pushing an update after the jam has finished :)

It was mostly the physics on he bodies for me, coupled with the trigger area for grabbing them not always feeling super accurate for where the camera is pointing. Nothing too major, but I think fixing it would go a long way in improving the overall game feel!

Submitted(+2)

SUCH A GOOD GAME!!!  I absolutely loved the idea of stacking bodies to trigger events and let you get to higher places.  This is truly magnificent for only four days.  With a team that big (I know it's not that big compared to giant AAA teams, but you get the point), I would've thought having to direct what everybody would have to do would be a headache and take way too long, but your team executed it perfectly.  I genuinely hope you win this game jam, you all deserve it.

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much for playing.

We all worked really well with each other and it all came together in the last day.

including myself (Harry) saying up till 3am to fix something

Really clever take on the "death is an opportunity" prompt! Definitely had some issues gauging the hitboxes, but that can't be helped with such a short deadline. All in all, I had a really fun time!

Developer(+1)

Amazing! Thank you so much for playing.

We want to release an update after the jam fixing the core issues to make a better experience for players.
Be sure to follow and check that out!

Pretty cool concept! That room with all the buttons stumped me, but that's probably just a skill issue.

Developer

Thank you for playing!

Hope you found the correct button to press in the end!

This was easily one of the best games I played in the jam. I loved the unique mechanic, the eerie PS2-style aesthetic, and how satisfying the puzzles felt to solve.

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed, we are hoping to publish another update after the jam for some QoL improvements and more complex puzzles!

Submitted(+1)

Amazing work. Love the concept. Love the character (<3 Nee). The extra little camera follow / clicks were a cool addition that really added to the vibe. The little easter eggs and logo self inserts were great! I can see myself playing a longer version of this game for sure.
I cant tell if that volume slider works. I hear you guys know about the cursor bug.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Hope you enjoyed playing.

We are compiling all the issues together in a nice little document to go back and fix after the jam, we are currently aware of the issues but thank you for bringing them up!

Submitted(+2)

I liked it, and I like the MC model that you used! The concept is super fun, and while it took me a bit to figure out the first trick, it made sense to me and I love how on-theme it is. I would love to see a fleshed out version of this!

Developer(+1)

Hi thank you so much for playing!

We are planning on releasing some updates as we really enjoyed this project and want to see it fleshed out ourselves!

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! also loved yours!
