that was so good, cries forever. I did run into a weird bug where the gamejoy mini game kept playing after I finished it? and I can still hear the pew pews while in a call with mom so that was funny. But that was the browser version so it's not a big deal! Amazing work!!

Really great short! The phone calls were my favourite part. Also, reading the note on the computer and the dad's postcard. Really great narrative that didn't drag. Looks stunning, and the music is also pretty great. Probably my favourite game in this jam so far!
Really great! You handled a difficult topic very well, it never felt cheesy or melodramatic. Add a more moving soundtrack, maybe some voice acting on the phone calls (& a way to contact your Dad? that felt like a missed opportunity) and you've got a very powerful experience on your hands. There are many ways to judge “Death is an Opportunity”, and I think most of us thought about silly zombies and ghosts (and there’s nothing wrong with that XD), but this is a really mature and brave take, and really hits home. It is incredibly wholesome and thought provoking. I cried a little. But in a good way.
