Level 2 soundly defeated me. This is a very interesting and absurdly difficult game. I really like the recoil-as-a-jump mechanic. This could be fleshed out into a full-length game with a ton of levels, different guns/characters, and objects to interact with and destroy.

Nice one! Simple and satisfying. The visible trail behind the moving gun is a great touch.

I was annoyed sometimes by having to wait on the ground to reload, and by sometimes landing in the wrong place (and having to fire to adjust my position, then wait for the reload). Might be better to reload instantly when you hit the ground, or allow A+D to move horizontally when grounded?

I notice you’re using Godot. Building for Web should have been an option. You really ought to do that! Downloading binaries in 2025 asks rather a lot of users.

But all in all a real nice game. Five stars for Difficulty because it defeated me: I got as far as the first leafy platform in level 2.

thx <3 the instant reload was a mechanic but i remove it because it makes the game too easy and and it was buggy so i toke the easier option
