I'm looking for a musician for my game for this jam as well! Message me if interested. It's a board game, and the soundtrack is important for the game play as it is also used as a time marker. Storyline: You and your friends finally get enough courage to enter into the abandoned haunted house at the end of the block on halloween night. But as you step in, the door closes and you are locked inside. Can you find a way out before you are scared stiff? Don’t forget about your friends!
Anyone reading this stay away from Courtney Laschkewitsch, she is not actually making a game for the game jam and is simply looking to exploit creatives. I have reported to admins.
Report received. We can discuss further here, but board games are allowed in this jam. The rule that you cited concerns the engines which video games are allowed to use. It is not restrictive in the type of media a user can create for our jam.
There is a long history of board games, TTRPGs, and other types of non-video games being made for our jams. In fact, about 100 days ago we repeated that TTRPGs are acceptable. Regardless, we have clarified our stance with a new rule. (see "Can I make something which isn't a game?")
Please let us know if your concerns extend beyond the type of media Courtney is creating for this game jam.
