I also have no team. When it comes to game development you can say i am skilled but not like crazy 5 years of experience . Also don't do game jams for a quick buck game jams are meant to find other devs make friends etc.
I looked at the previous gamejam submissions and thought... I think I could get into top 3 as solo. I believe in game features over design/visuals (I'm a scripter)
