Salutations!

Cute sprites. I like the artwork and the animations, haha.
Interesting choice for the music.

A note:

  • For some reason, I was invincible for a long time, and every enemy just straight up died when it got close to the character(?). This ended after a bit, and I died haha.

Funny and cute. Thanks for warning about the counter that may or may not work.
You and your partner did a good job.

The pixel art style is very charming. I noticed that the counter didn't go up (like you mentioned on the game's page). But I was wondering, do you just keep playing until you die, or are there other levels? I kept killing enemies for a while until they overwhelmed me and killed my character.
