I had fun playing this, I didn't get enough points though and lost, the voice acting was top notch and the art pretty well done :D
I didn't need to play more to know it was going to be fire. Great voice acting, great art, amazing sound design, and I love the animated intro. It captivated me from the get-go. I thought the dialogue stretched a little too long, but I enjoyed how you incorporated games within the game, which shows the amount of effort that was put into this project.
The Voice Acting was great and the game made me laugh on multiple occasions! Great job!
Very well done! I really enjoyed the art and sound design! The game played smoothly and the narrative was very funny and compelling. Keep it up!
Haha, that voice acting was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Incredible game — congrats, truly fantastic! Super fun, definitely a hidden gem!
If you have a moment, I’d love if you could check out mine too! Play it here: https://kaijota.itch.io/graverun
Watch the gameplay on YouTube:
Really liked the art style, it felt nostalgic even though it was just made. The VO was fun if not a little drowned out sometimes, and the games were fun. The game that involved typing an answer into the box was frustrating because I had to physically click in the text box, type in my answer, and then click the submit button. All that to say it made a simple game frustrating strictly. That being said, overall I enjoyed playing and well done!
Undertale and Deltarune were never my jam, so this game was probably never going to be for me. If that was the style of presentation the developer was shooting for, then I would say they nailed it. The nature of that style meant that there was a lot of dialogue happening, though, and I found myself wanting to get to the gameplay faster, but this is definitely a more personal preference of mine. If I had to give a criticism to one part, though, it would be the audio mixing. I found it difficult to hear the main game's cutscenes only to be blasted by the skeleton host screaming "F*CK... I mean, crap.", which was funny, but did hurt my ears a bit. Overall, a solid showing!
Really amazing voice acting and fun mini games. Had a laugh at some of the lines of dialogue. Great work!
It was good but was a lot of vague things as some games lasted longer than others and was really confused what i should do and once i understood the game ended also I dont know how many points I needed to win and the intro was the longest part. Overall it was good but be better if it had more time and Clarification on the games. Some games were really good and polished but had a few bugs.
If we're working with a plethora of Minigames, I might recommend a minigame selector in the main menu. Allowing players to play particular games. (Maybe unlocking the games after they're played once in main mode.)
This has to be the best rendition of death I've seen so far.
It is impressive what you managed to do in 5 days, and the visuals and audio are great. Throws me back to the good old Monkey Island titles :) The voice actor was great as well (whom I’m guessing is also a vocalist of sorts?). Occasionally, I did find myself longing for the interactions to come a bit faster, so for me the balance between fun dialogue and interaction was a bit heavy on the dialogue side.
