In really like the story and character designs. But I really couldn't find anything once I was able to move. Am I missing something, or does the game end there? And speaking of moving, I think it'd benefit a lot if you could just hold down the button to keep moving instead of having to take one step at a time.
Salutations!
Is this going to be a War-Themed, Survival Horror, Dungeon Crawling game? Because I'm totally invested.
The world-building and design for the characters were truly exceptional. The Magical Girl designs and personalities were so good, and I liked their dynamic.
Reading the story and getting to the cave, I was engaged and ready to battle whatever was coming, and then it ended. I really wanna play a more developed version of this.
The music and the environment were immersive and kinda spooky, ngl. I liked it.
I saw there where multiple things going on, and multiple ideas that I would have love to see. Like the Equipment and Skills menus, which I think imply some sort of combat. Or the health system that appears in the Pause Menu.
But I understand that time was not in our favor.
I have some notes about my experience that I would like to list here:
But even so, I was truly enjoying it, and I hope we can see more of this world you're creating.
Great Concept, I really look forward to more of it!
This game is really promising & I'm looking forward to playing a more developed version :-]
I quite enjoyed the writing so far; the premise, setting, world building etc. really fun and cool stuff. I loved the characters too(both the writing and the art & designs)!
The music was quite fitting and competent; I felt like it was a little too understated in the first parts of the opening dungeon you were trying to create but I understand it's unfinished(?)
(This review was written with the idea that that the first dungeon crawling area of the game isn't done yet, let me know if there's more to the game I'm missing beyond that first dark first person area that's seemingly empty.)
Looking forward to more dudes!
Was very surprised to see a first person dungeon crawler! Was a bit sad there was not more content xD Hope to see more of this in the future!
I wandered around, terrified, in the dark for 10 minutes before I fully decided the map was empty. XD The music also really well lends itself to a horror vibe, even though I didn't feel like it was about to be a horror game from the initial narrative. Controls--I generally dislike the way the movement feels, but if the game is meant to be horror it increased my fear level by 300% and was very effective.
Obviously, there are a lot of missing features: settings button on main menu doesn't work, UI elements in level are missing, enemies aren't there. I see that you are still planning to add stuff, and I really look forward to it!
