Sunflower's itch.io page

Which wildcard did you use, if any, and how?
PHI: A sunflower's seed patterns is the first thing that I think of when I think of the golden ratio, my main game loop revolves around growing the sunflower over and over again. I also chose a genre I've never created before, incremental games, because their nature is mundane, so it's a game about accumulating 1 billion sunflower seeds.

Who are all the members of your team and their roles?
solo

What lesson(s) did you and your teammates learn from this jam?
Balancing an incremental game, trying to make something mundane like number become big a little more fun, text animations, writing sdd's, completing a game jam

What are you and your teammates most proud of from this jam?
text animations, sfx, experimenting with particles, trying a new game genre (incremental)

Hey I decided to beat your game so you have someone who played the whole thing! I was really draw in by the sunflower art. Pico8 games have that kind of charm. I spent most of my time looking at the menu. The ending is pretty funny. Cheers!

That means so much to me! I’m so happy that you enjoyed it. I couldn’t fit the menu anywhere because of the pico limitations haha, but it’s definitely something that I’ll keep in mind for my future games.
