It looks pretty cool with this tileset and this character!
Cool game!
thanks for pointing this out
Oh My Gosh! I loved this game. The art is cute and reminds me of some free tile sets I saw! It was also very fun and calming! :3
The graphics are amazing. Platforming feels a bit janky.
gorgeous art :O
The art is adorable. Seriously like it's so cute. Best art me and my team have seen so far out of all the other submissions. Which is why its really a shame that the artist didn't seem to take the time to draw all the other sprites. The gameplay does need some polishing, and its unclear what part of the game involves sacrifice (although maybe I'm just oblivious).
If the artist has, like, a site where they just post their art, please send it!!! Seriously, the art is so good.
You can get the tileset here and the character here.
Hope this helps!
Does that also include the art drawn for the thumbnail? That's the one we were most impressed by (it looked like the artist made it themselves for this game, too!)
Really loved the artwork and music! I got confused about the water because I forgot to read the game description lol. Platformers are not difficult to make, but this one is incredibly well implemented. It's difficult for me to believe it was made during a hackathon considering the quality of the art and music. I was confused about the theming because I didn't encounter any of the potions mentioned in the game description, I just went underwater and grabbed the flower thing. Overall, it's a very nice game and an amazing feat that this was accomplished during a hackathon.
I agree with everything stated here
