I love it. Zooming into the main menu is really cool. The game itself is a lot of fun, although, as others have mentioned, more explanations would definitely help. For example, it took me a while to figure out that some resources are only available on some planets. The music and sound effects are also great.
I did find a few bugs though: Sometimes the ship seems to connect to the wrong planet and unpausing the game doesn't work.
This game is great! From the graphics to the super cool soundtrack. I can not fathom you achieved this in such little time and even set out to pursue such a complex concept in the beginning.
<3
Super cool concept and execution! I particularly love the music & matching SFX <3
A tutorial on the right side would help a lot, as I felt a little lost there.
I feel like there's a lot of potential in this game!
Thanks, nice to hear that you noticed the matching SFX :). The potential is definitely there, but it was a lot of stuff to implement for 48h. We did some more polishing/fixing, you can find an updated version here: https://moon-breaker.lgk-productions.com/ (still no tutorial for P2 though….)
Fun to play as two players as well as alone. The time that the ship needs to land on a planet is a little annoying, but other than that, it's very well made. I like the graphics with one player having the outlines and the other one having color and the music and sound effects were very fitting too.
Glad you enjoyed it! We messed up the landing at some point, so at the moment it waits for the text to disappear before being able to tranfer resources :) It might be better to initiate landing via a keypress to make it optional, but time for testing was very sparse…
Tutorial would help a lot! The right player doesn't know how to play the game :(
We planned on adding an in-game tutorial for Player 2 but sadly did run out of time. You can find some basic instructions on our itch page.
