What a great scope for a gamejam. The mood is great, the simulator gameplay is quickly addicting and there’s just enough weirdness to stay compelling the whole time.

Fun little game! The vibes were good felt spooky. The nights are a bit long but good overall especially for your first 3d game. I'm dumb and when I started game development for my self I started 3d. 3d is awful haha But good submission!
This is your first 3D game?? This is so peak! I feel like I just played through a prototype of an indie horror gem, and I love the cosmic horror that comes with the thorn, which isn't something I expected.
I appreciate how the story here is so simple and the gameplay is simple enough to drive me forward without being boring. The whole atmosphere reminds me of salad fingers which might've been an inspiration? Again I think the cosmic horror with the thorn is so well done and the ending actually made me feel something.
I understand the night sections are necessary to hide the thorn being there in the morning, but a critique would be to make the night less dark since I couldn't see anything during the night so I just wait until the morning before continuing to do the chores. Maybe making the night shorter could be a good compromise?
Please make a fuller version with this concept and gameplay I would totally play it :)) Thorn is 10/10

Making the night shorter or lighter is a good idea. I also got the feedback while playtesting that the nights are too dark. I made it lighter, but not enough!
