Very impressive level design work! I really loved the detailed locations, lighting was very moody and realistic at the same time too. Not sure I've got the jist of the story, there was a funny moment with the monster who forget their purse, but then the game leaned back to horror, I guess. And it all culminated in a weird ending that I honestly did not understand.

But other than that, very nice work!

Thank you for your kind words but, I guess I have to disappoint you. Most of the locations have been assets by the great designer elbolilloduro (https://elbolilloduro.itch.io). I just moved some stuff as I needed it. It's more a little parody of uninspired indie game devs, that all the time recycle the same assets (this assets are seen in nearly every second indie horror game in the last years) and do repetetive, boring jobs until the action starts and ends immediately by a jumpscare. But you are right. The art is outstanding. I just wanted to clearify, most of it is not by me.

I was suspecting there were some meta commentary going on, but was not able to put my finger on what exactly was parodied and with what intent. This is probably because I don't play horror games that much (find them to scary, to be honest). Thank you for the explanation and for providing me with additional cultural context, I will be more attentive to the assets use in games going forward :)

Impressing. Felt more like an interactive movie. Very well done locations and interactions, especially the surreal dialogue with the creature. Though, I survived :-)
I liked the style, use of theme and the story.

Thank you for the explanation. I rarely play horror games and the assets were new to me. Though I wouldn't count their use as uninspired per se but ok, when one sees them over and over again it gets boring. But what I really meant with "locations" is the use of episodic segments which drive the story forward, regardless of the asset quality. So I am not disappointed at all.

Hey — I liked your game Any Indie Horror Game’s, the PS2-era graphics and those glitchy TV flicker moments created a great horror vibe. I encountered a bug where the win condition wasn’t connected in the version uploaded, so I ended up stuck after clearing what seemed like the main objective. For a suggestion: you might try adding a clear “mission completed” prompt or visual change once the win condition is met to avoid confusion and give players closure.
If you’ve got a moment, I’d love it if you checked out my game and dropped a rating: /jam/gamedevtv-halloween-jam-2025/rate/3971977

— thanks so much and best of luck in the jam! 🎃

Good job!

Pretty good job overall, especially in terms of atmosphere. I died once and wound up getting stuck in the house as I couldn't figure out how to progress more past that point, but other than that, I enjoyed what I played.

Thank you alot. I didn't upload the correct version. I didn't connect the win condition. It's fixed now (I would say, it's a gamebreaking bug).
