While the visuals are a bit limited, the game successfully achieves some important aspects such as giving the player clear objectives and creating a strong horror element. For example, you need to keep cutting trees to prevent the timer from running out while avoiding attacks from the monster, and the game handles that well. As a first attempt at a 3D game, it shows good potential and plenty of room for improvement. Great job!

It's a good game. The gameplay is clear, but the visuals don't look complete. However, during the gameplay, I felt a bit scared because I didn't know what to expect from the game. (For example, when the timer ended, I was really scared by the game over due to the approaching sound)

I think the game play was charming! I thought the fear was just nature but then I realized there was a monster after me, the first attacked definitely startled me!

As you get more experience, I can see how you can flesh this game out since it definitely has potential~

I tested your game, it's good having inspirations. Your game has potential, can go to other direction. There are great elements in your game that I found very interesting. One of the elements that gets my attention is the glowy thing when you die. The sound of it is like those Celtic Carnyx it gives you a creeps for something that will about to come. I haven't yet played LIDAR.EXE, but I looked through it. The scan looks coool though and sound that you used. The same vibe is captured in this poster from the film The Thing (1982):

Gnarpy: I'm giving you 5 stars, so in hopes that you can finish this one!

Thank you! Actually, the "glowing thing" is a physical object that you can see! It spawns as soon as you reach 0 heat (and its model is a bean because I didn't have enough time" Thank you for playing!

Pretty spooky! I love the darkness and the lantern mechanic, however I wouldn't say the game is very fun... It's just walking and interacting on repeat. But not bad!

Developer

Yeah, you're right! There's definitely a lot I can improve on. Thanks for playing!

Very nice game that I personally can relate to. I'm from the very cold region, and we often have to chop wood to hear our houses, so there's basically that, haha. I had some problems accessing the game itself though. It would be great if you could add a web version or zip a windows version, so it is downloadable directly via itch app. Other than that, good game, amazing work :D
