Loved the art style, and that it's gbc is neat!

The story really hooked me in (seeing the paralells between things like the protagonist and the princess was super satisfying), your descriptions paired with the visuals especially made a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere :O
I absolutely loved the artwork, especially the work you did on the mask 💕✨

Half of why I love game jams really is "someone will toss in an 8.5k vn about victorian mishandling of mummies made for the game boy color" and thank god honestly. Fantastic use of your... sub-medium, I guess? Very cool old adventure game vibes.

Wow!! What an incredibly cool game. I'm incredibly impressed by the GBC constraints - you used the medium well, and the graphics and music work great - especially the rendering of the mask. The writing is also particularly stand-out - you've got a narrative style that really feels like a period piece. This could easily be a real work of gothic horror, especially with the pacing and mounting dread.

Well done!!

GBC... that's very nostalgic.

Other than that, I really enjoy playing the game very much. The story is intriguing. My favorite part is probably the story time with the professor. Lydia is sweet. As for Etty... that girl, she indeed bites more than she can chew and ends up choking
