Really cool!

Very cool concept, and execution. Feels very PS2 / Lethal Company inspired, and the postprocessing and sound design really add a lot to it. Just a couple small critiques, but overall really well done.

Interaction: Some button indicators would be really nice, along with maybe a highlight if you hover over an interactable object.

Puzzle 2: Having the codes need to be entered in a specific order felt very unintuitive, along with very little indication that you need to enter multiple codes there.

Overall really cool and fun, Great job!

Cool concept with the low oxygen on an eerie station. The beeping sound was very stressful. The puzzle confused me a lot at first (not sure if that was just me). Visually, the game looks great. I love the PSX style, but with some more modern touches (like the reflections or higher quality lights. Audio's great, too. The story idea is quite nice; one of the more fleshed-out stories I've seen from this jam so far.

Cool submission.

Really enjoyed this game when I played it! I meant to leave a comment before but itch wouldn't let me for some reason lol. Loved the puzzles and the visuals really added to the whole experience. Great job!

Very interesting game and premise, i couldn't quite grasp the game's mechanic at first and that was a big throw off for me, i love puzzle games but this felt like a find the button mixed with a memory game, i wish i'd be able to deduce things more rather than having to memorize things and not really be able to make most things in time (which frustrated me, i kinda wish there was some way to minimize Oxygen loss), but overall a cool game!

Developer(+1)

Hey thanks for checking it out! There is a way to regain oxygen by holding interact on a certain object, but this was something we did not explain well at all, thanks for playing tho!

Game is really cool! Was very hard for me since my memory sux, but I especially loved the aesthetics and sound design! Good work! I would appreciate it if you could check out my submission aswell if you have some spare time :)

Really nice aesthetic and I noticed a bug where the running sound plays while standing in place while holding shift, but I have some bigger issues. Okay I have limited time for every game, but I cannot figure out what's going on with the second puzzle and I don't really like the three red herrings it feels very unfair. I have tried every orientation of the arrow on the O2, the among us, the I guess block with bits on the side, and the one from the first door because the previous room had a spout you turned (which I assumed is supposed to be a hint) and it doesn't seem to work. If you're going to combine puzzle immediately you really shouldn't have red herrings, because I can't tell if I'm actually doing anything wrong and sometimes the screen doesn't blink red when I submit so I really don't know.

Developer

Hello! two things, A: Love the Zaku pfp, its my favorite suit of gundam. B: there isn't red herrings, the second puzzle is a mult-input where you have to put them in a order, this is on us, we didn't give proper indication that the second one was multiple, thanks for giving us a try anyways :)

Okay came back with a clear head (sorry I was a little irritable the day I first played) I got it but I couldn't tell why it was the order it is? Also I noticed the game isn't completely paused the O2 still goes down just an FYI (though people aren't normally stopped on a pause screen). Glad I got to finish it :) and I did enjoy the valve puzzle. Thank you for noticing the Zaku profile pic I tried your game cause I saw jellyfishdev on discord did too.

Developer

thats me btw :) this account has an old name! thank you so much for playing

really cool stuff! The aesthetic is nice, I really like the texturing of the game! For the gameplay, I wish there was a little bit more of tutorials, but I’m dumb so that might be why. I really like the codes, the maze was not the best to navigate, but the rest was awesome. Solid entry definitely! You can be proud

The sfx and the shaders were awesome in this game, I also really liked the game mechanics :D

So, I figured out the patterns for the code locks. But then it just gets vile. I'm fine with drawing amogus for the 50th time, I figured out how to rotate the valves, and after speedrunning through all that I only have 1 section of O2 gauge left for the labyrinth section, and I don't really have any time left to navigate it and find the exit.

Maybe it's just a skill issue, but I didn't have the perseverance to finish the game, I rage quit at my 5th attempt at passing the labyrinth in the ducts.

But there's a lot of great stuff in this game: it looks really nice, environment is chunky and nicely textured, there's some good lighting. Really like how displays look, with static and all that.

Interface design is great, and main menu looks top notch.

Developer(+1)

Sorry! something to note is that you can refill your 02 Gauge by interacting with the canister, we didn't really make that clear, in my eyes you beat the game! thanks for taking the time out of your day to play it!

Submitted(+1)

Oh, it's my bad then. Should've figured this out, this would certainly make it a lot easier!

Developer(+1)

Nono! its a common problem you did great!

So, I returned to the game and this time made it to the end!
I have to say knowing that I can resupply with oxygen really turned this game around for me. Now I could explore the ducts AND leave for a resupply when needed. This created some really tense moments where I wasn't sure I had enough air for a return trip, and in the end I had to rush blindly forward in hopes of reaching the end this one time, and it turned out the right way, I jumped down and scrambled to the canister - this felt really great.

Developer(+1)

Yay! im glad that made the game more fun! those tense moments were what we where going for! thanks for giving us another chance

I have a black screen, no response, can't play :'(

Developer

Ahhhh I'm sorry, we've seen this happen once or twice, don't really know why, I think its something to with fullscreen but im sorry about that!

Seems like I have the same problem with other Godot games of the game jam, I saw it works well in browser for several of them.

Developer

Yeahhh, we can't make a browser build either without the audio not coming through, we are using the Fmod plugin, but also are using C# which godot for some reason doesn't have support for. A person on our team got it to compile but no audio which really sucks

Damn ok!
The game isn't black screen today but here is what I see:

This came out great friends, good job

The art and sound design are amazing! (I had no idea you could use FMod with Godot, it's great!)
I got a bit stuck at the start and couldn't find out how to progress past the first door, do you have any hints?

Developer

take a look around the chambers, there might be a clue :)
