I like it! The art style is neat and I liked the silliness :)
Two notes: 1) The music stopped playing some time after I got to the scene after the boss. Maybe the audio file in your project isn't set to loop. 2) I think your health depleting as you fall off the map slows the pacing down of the game. There were a few times where I fell and I felt like I had to wait for a few seconds before I could continue playing. Areas below the tiles you walk on that auto-kill/respawn you when you touch them could help with that.
Nice job with the game!
Nice idea with the color changes and the obstacles that were combined with them. Like many others, I found the “boing” sound very amusing! In total, a very nice platformer with well-implemented mechanics and smooth controls. The only thing that was a bit confusing to me was the boss fight. I didn’t get for a while what I was supposed to do. Overall, great job!
Nice job! You and I actually had very similar ideas. In my game, you swap masks to see and use the different worlds/platforms. Yours actually succeeds in a lot of ways where mine fails. First, yours is much more accessible and easy, but in a really good way. I have learned that, in game jams, you want it to be on the easier/faster side so that more people can play and finish it. You also made a pretty responsive wall jump, which I appreciated. Tuning the x and y velocity on the wall jump was a huge challenge for me, but I like how this one feels. Yours was also a lot less punishing, which felt really nice. I didn't require overly precise inputs or annoying jumps, so well done on that! I do think there are some things that can be improved, though. It felt very zoomed out and everything was pretty small. I didn't even notice the hearts at the top until the end. The audio that was there was cute, but more audio for jumps and running would be amazing. Overall, excellent job!!
Such a fun little game! The spring jump sound was amazing :)
Great take on the theme switching printer colors!
Super Fun Game!!! The Theme was quite Unique!
I love the sound effects... I could jump on springs the whole day :) Great game and really fun to play.
Pretty cute and the movement felt lovely - I did better on it than most platformers (I am not a platformer type of girl) so I enjoyed it. Didn't get to the end as it was a bit unclear what was expected of me. But not bad!
Super cute platformer, bent my brain a bit but after the first few checkpoints I started getting the hang of switching masks/colors without having to pause and think for a sec lol.
Criticism: The walljump is tricky to use. Also everything is tiny (I didn't even notice I had 3 hearts until the 2nd last level lol). Also the boss fight/thing with the staplers was confusing, although it looked really cool! After a while I realized I just gotta go to the door. Would have loved more audio, although "boiiing" being the only sound effect was baller in its own way.
Very solid concept and level design which kept me interested the whole way through. Great job.
