He's a bit slow for mouse controls.
I'd be less annoyed by that if I moved him at that speed with button controls.

Some grammatical things to fix under "Slimed" the butterflies should be "grateful". Under "Fireballs" you state that there's an "earth shattering raport" but a "rapport" is a good thing. Did you mean to use another word?
Okay, all of that said I can see how this one really is a direct revival. So you get highmarks there! Despite the spelling issues, which are very minor and don't affect gameplay, it's a very cute game that presents some stuff challenges as it progresses. I only got as far as the fireballs before I gave up and that's okay - easy to learn hard to master. The story elements are helpful to keep the player going and you have the ability to add to that to make completing a level even more rewarding.
Still, it reminded me so much of games from the 90s and that's truly in the spirit of the jam. Good work.
I love the classic mode ^^
The choice to not auto reload after shooting is quite an interesting choice ^^
Deceptively hard. I thought it would be a piece of cake but then turned pretty challenging really fast. That's not a criticism - it's a compliment with how challenging it is with the limited number of variables you have in there now. You could add more things like variation to your arrow speed based on pull back strength to add a lot more skill, or arrow powerups, flaming arrows that cause chain reactions, exploding arrows that have AOE properties, and so on. Lots of opportunities here. Good stuff
charming little guy ! great color palette and simple style
i would've preferred if the movement and arrows were a bit faster, for a snappier feel, but that depends on what vibe you're going for, the balloons were a bit hard for me to shoot because of how slow the arrow moves, and i had to wait for it to go across the entire screen before trying again
but that's all dependent on a lot of playtesting and feedback, which is hard to get on a jam deadline, nice work !
Really challenging to get the timing right, especially on the first level ironically. It's fun, though! I enjoyed the slimes the most out of how far I was able to get. I think timing the approaching slimes was more fun to me than timing the arrow being at the right height at the right time for the balloons and bubbles... maybe because I just played a bunch of Tapper last weekend, though.
Nice work!
