Hey! I made a rough walkthrough of the game since no one else had uploaded any yet. Feel free to check it out!

That's super cool. Honestly amazed you even took your time to do that :D

Can't lie, this was really entertaining.

This is a masterpiece for a game jam. I only ran into two issues. The text was hard to read in some places, and when I picked up the stone on one day, I lost the ability to use it for the rest of that run. On my second playthrough, this issue was fixed.

I also have a question about the story. Who or what killed Lauren? I didn’t fully understand that part.

Hello, thank you so much, this has brighten up my mourning a lot! I'm surprised you've played it after so long since the ham happend.

I've gottem ton of feedback szrrounding the game from sources outside of itch and many were adressing the text reading so when I do another such project I wanna make it more user friendly. Also regarding the other bug (and few more) I had a new version ready but itch didn't let me upload it since the jam us still ongoing. Do you know if I can update it or what's the status of the jam? (I'm not much of a itch person).

Regarding your question, I don't want to spoil it here in the comments but if you're interested, I'm down to talk about it elsewhere.

Thank you for the detailed reply. Yeah, I got a bit lazy and put these games aside for a long time, but I’ve finally played most of them—at least the ones that seemed interesting to me. I’m a big fan of your game, and I’ll definitely play your next games as well.

Regarding uploading a patched version, I checked my game page and saw that I could upload a new version there, but I’d suggest you don’t risk that. You could upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox and provide the link in a comment or in the game page description. You could also make a new game page and post the download link in the submission comments or on the original game page.

That said, if I were you, I probably wouldn’t do this at all. Even though the bug broke the game once for me, I was still able to finish it, and it’s not worth risking anything by messing around with the files before the results are out. I’ve played some games that won previous MegaJams and were even featured in the official Unreal trailer for this MegaJam, and some of them were genuinely broken. They likely won because of their unique gameplay, art style, or overall concept. Your game definitely has a strong chance of winning.

Really awesome, metroidbrainia! I finished it twice and really enjoyed slowly piecing the story together. What a premise.

Thanks for the kind words. ^^

Oh dang, I got the bad ending lol. The atmosphere is really good, I'm a big fan of the low-poly aesthetic, the noise when the flooding starts jump scared me EVERY time! Great work!

Thanks a lot <3
