Problem: Da Michi is really strong and kills anything I send at her.
Solution: Conquer Lia and leave her to "spawn" more liacons while you conquer the rest of the map. When the game starts lagging, look back at the upper left corner of the map to find a horde of liacons. Send them all in at once.
Da Michi eviscerated so many liacons, it was like watching Sauron swinging his mace.
Fun game, my only critiques would be that the camera movement was very slow and selecting an army to attack by selecting each unit one by one was a bit of a hassle.

Fun, a bit slow and definitely difficult to learn. The "next" arrow in the How To Play screen didnt work, which caused issues. I wouldve liked a speed up button to make things go faster, or maybe the ability to give orders to a group of units at once instead of one by one. It was also a bit difficult to see who exactly was allied with who, especially since a few of the clans had an entire roster of enemies. Maybe some tooltips on the buttons would be good, as the icons arent very descriptive (I'm coming from a background of a guy who doesnt play map games so its not second-nature to me).
I still dont quite understand the gold generation mechanic, since even at 12/14 bases captured, i was getting ~40 gold per turn, maybe thats because of upkeep? Thats also a mechanic i dont understand.
Still enjoyable though, won as Pippa but i didnt really use capipis after the 2nd base
Glad you enjoyed it. The income was likely was due to upkeep, each unit has 1-2 gold per turn upkeep. Also Lumi has a gold steal ability that can make that even more confusing if you are fighting her. As for factions it is you vs everyone else allied together against the player which is why they reinforce each other.
Very fun game but it felt a little slow and the camera was a bit too zoomed in for my liking. If you plan on updating this I'd also like to see the ability to select multiple units at once.
Very well executed and polished game for a jam game. I did feel like it was missing some more comprehensive controls, such as middle-mouse panning and being able to select multiple units at a time, which I feel would have made gameplay a lot smoother.

Pretty cool. There's some decent strategy to it, especially if tricking the AI into leaving their base and trying to capture it before the turn ends so you can spend all your starting gold using their own units against them counts as strategy. I kept playing until I beat the game as either Lia or MariMari_en. I also enjoyed how sending Sleepy's child soldiers to college to study economics is much better strategy than strapping bombs to them and throwing them into enemy territory. A lot of game developers would be afraid to make a statement like that.

Pretty fun strat game. Really fun. Love looting, pillaging, driving their men and hearing the lamentation of their women
