Cute art as always. Story was interesting, appreciate the added lore scrolls even if they flew a bit over my head. Love the buff dragon and the idea of a squad of ghosts driving around in a van to trick or treat.

Thanks, the buff dragon was honestly one of my favorite things to make in it too.

The art style made me smile and I loved the dragon ;)

The dialogue could do with a bit of editing (tbf. The jam is pretty short though, so you can only do so much!) And honestly Id drop the opening dialogue about gypsies & magic-ing away fat people. Its doesn't add much to the story & is a bit... offputting? :|

Once I got past that, the actual game was good! Whats not to love about a fun lesbian/mosterfucker romp through a small town! :D

there was originally going to be an alternate ending where you would meet the original creators of Trick For Treats, as for gypsies, their one of the most fun dnd 3.5 classes to play, they also appeared in dnd 2nd edition and as a class option in Tales of Eternia, otherwise said joke/reference wouldn't work in this timeline. (also might be a small reference to friendship is witchcraft but that's up to the viewer to decide)

as for the fat people thing, it's a hint that they live in a 'not so perfect utopian society' when you live in the dystopian psuodo 90s future, you don't realize you are living in the dystopian psuodo 90s future. Though perhaps it is a bit on the nose, but with only a week, its hard to really get world building down right.

(Should nighthaze city get expanded upon these elements will be made more clear, the ministry of health is very much something that comes from fallout equestria.)

Ah yeah I did wonder if dystopia might be the magicing fat people vibe๐Ÿ‘

As for the gypsy thing... Given your context is fantasy, Im going to assume you dont live in a country where Travelers/Romani etc. are common ๐Ÿ˜…

Being from somewhere where they are common, blaming travelers/romani etc. for kidnapping people is kinda an old person racist thing! (To be clear, I dont think you are racist!)

Ive seen the trope subverted and used well... but I guess its just worth being aware that its got a lot of political bagage ๐Ÿ˜…

Thanks for the feedback, I get where you're coming from, and didn't want to cause any undue stress. Hopefully the lore update helps players see that 'things are not quite what they seem'

No stress! I figured there was no harm meant! :)

The art style is cute. Story was fine. The gameplay is petty standard.
