Amazing work, tough game for me, but I enjoy it. Keep up

Surprisingly pretty spooky game, the jumpscares got me pretty much every time and the atmostphere were well done. I think gameplay-wise, it's a little too hard for being about a joke. You can only get away if you're at full stamina, even if you try to avoid it based on sound effects. Overall very good though, I think it could use a little leniency

i appreciate the feedback! Its good to hear it was spooky enough to get you. I will definitely be balancing the game soon.

Liked the atmosphere of the game! My main complaint is the SCP being way too aggressive and unforgiving. Everytime I was spotted, it felt like I had a 50% chance of dying, and I could do nothing about that.  It made it seem like an unfair challenge. With a little balancing, I think it'd be a great game!

Developer

Yeah others have been saying the same. Will be updating the game soon with some balancing.Thank you for your feedback though!

Unironically, this game has a LOT of good elements, to the point where I genuinely had to wonder if this was a master at work. That introduction was actually a very good mock SCP containment breach / VHS warning video. Everything actually feels well thought out, like the developer actually understood the irony behind making this game, but also provided something that could be treated as a real product in a vacuum. I think the most praiseworthy thing I could say about this game is this: if the 67 meme didn't exist, this would still be a pretty solid (if kinda simple) horror game.

I will say that some parts of this game seem like they utilize a lot of outside assets, but I guess that's fine for something made in only one week. This pains me to say, but Good Game, and good job!

Wow this is honestly super great to hear from another developer. I appreciate all your compliments on the game i definitely had a lot of fun making this silly horror game. Most things were outside assets for sure, the only asset unique to this game is the model for the monster, got someone to make that for me.

I’ll definitely be checking out your submission when i find the time, currently editing a devlog for this game. Thank you for playing!

I didn't finish the game as the thing kept catching me and I had some trouble finding the locations of some of the items, but the environment looks really nice and it's got a simple and digestible gameplay premise.

I found myself being seen way before I could see or hear the enemy which made finding everything very difficult. Is there a way to loose aggro?

Developer

I could adjust the distance that it could see you and/or the distance you can hear it. For losing aggro, you can, you’ll have to cut corners a lot. I have it setup so that it still knows where u are for a little bit when he loses sight. I can always adjust that delay if u find it to be too long. The shorter it is the easier it is to get away, and so thats why it’s a bit long and may be difficult to get away. Thank you for your feedback and playing my game :)
