Any problems found or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time, hopefully together we can create something great that will continue to grow for years to come.

Together we can make DBMB! amazing, please help us improve it in anyway that you can.

UPDATE: A dedicated post for Bugs & Suggestions has been added, please post there so it's easier for me to keep track of them.

*If I place spikes close to wall, all the walls and camp disappears. If I place a gate after that, it places multiple gates in the same spot.

*If i enter the cave/church, screen goes black with "loading" flashing and it stays that way.

Cool game!

Playing on Win 10 64bit

seems like a promising game i ll test it u should consider that rescued characters works on base as npc also maybe adding a companion dog and add hunger to raise a bit the survival side of the game

Developer

Hey Seifir,

Thanks so much for your suggestions. The rescued characters can actually each be placed as towers now. I do think it can be interesting to see the survivors walking around camp and stuff. The dog and hunger are both ideas I've played around with, there was a survivor idea which was an old man with a dog that would attack automatically. The hunger originally added an extra meter which made the game more complicated as it has so many moving parts already. I'll try play testing some ways to add the hunger and dog which would add to the overall game.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated,

Rafi

how do i join a second player?

so far only found a few bugs:

1: going into the cave to the north (windows version on win7) causes blackscreen with "loading" happening and save symbol at top flashing. left it there for approx 5 minutes, nothing happening.

2: at the end of the tutorial (where tutorial dude gets munched), if you "rescue" that dude by killing the zombie before he get to the dude, the game is stuck. you can still look around and shoot things, but you can not move or do anything else.

- also, it apparently "deleted" my safelile. after restarting the game (alt+f4), i had to start from the beginning.

- pretty sure the above problem did the same, but as i did it right at the start, i'm not sure if it even saved in the first place.

3: when building a tower, the rotation is ignored. (tried to place a tower with the ladder facing forward. tower always faces backwards.)

some issues i found:

- the hordes are very frequent. exploring the map might be problematic, as you have to return to your base to defend the attack, so you can't really go anywhere.

- placing things with the controler seems to be flimsy from time to time. ex: placing a tower on a specific tile. you have to use the right stick on the controller to not "wanky" it. then pressing A is kinda hard, unless you hold down the right stick with the left hand, and then fiddling around with the controller.

- apparently finite fuel. it's no fun when you can't make fuel on your own in any way. maybe a 200 - ressource - pumpjack, like unturned had it? (so far have not played too much, never got to any gas station)

- towers don't have a big range. placing a tower on the top left corner in the camp (inside) doesn't allow it to shoot the zombies on the right. so i have to go out and deal with them myself, instead of entrusting the safety of my base to some random chick i just found.

- repairing (is it even there?). zombies will munch on my wall. there's the issue that apparently you can't repair walls, just upgrade them. and i don't know how much durability is left on them. how can i be sure that my high level steel wal isn't going to burst by the next rotten shambler?

- UI-annoyance: especially when playing solo, the boxes in the corners (press X to join) can be a bit annoying at times. i get it, i don't have any extra controllers and(or friends. you don't have to rub it in my face 24/7. can't you just disappear after maybe 15 seconds or so?

- camera rotation. especially useful when trying to place towers directly into the corner of walls, being able to know how far exactly away they are might be useful. but meh

and last but not least: online-multiplayer?

4 people always in the same location is surely fun, but we can't divide workload. everyone has to do the same thing (defend, explore, etc). if we have multiple people, at least let some of them explore the map while the others defend the camp.

after all, great game, great concept, lots of potential. cute graphics, maybe not enough blood, but fun nonetheless (until your base gets inevitably mawled by zambros). would've wished for more survivors though, i'd like to place 4 towers at the corner and just set off trying to get the goal stones :D

gabgab01,

Thanks so much for the bugs and suggestions i'm working on these fixes.

so far only found a few bugs:

1: going into the cave to the north (windows version on win7) causes blackscreen with "loading" happening and save symbol at top flashing. left it there for approx 5 minutes, nothing happening.

This seems to be a problem with the Autosaving that happens when you enter the cave. I'll try and make it not freeze if it can't save. The problem might be happening if you're out of space on your computer or the program is not getting access to be able to save, I'll look into it

2: at the end of the tutorial (where tutorial dude gets munched), if you "rescue" that dude by killing the zombie before he get to the dude, the game is stuck. you can still look around and shoot things, but you can not move or do anything else.

Just realized by fixing something else I added this bug accidentally

- also, it apparently "deleted" my safelile. after restarting the game (alt+f4), i had to start from the beginning.

- pretty sure the above problem did the same, but as i did it right at the start, i'm not sure if it even saved in the first place.

There seems to be a problem with your saving. Enter is pause which has a manual save button could you try this and get back to me?

3: when building a tower, the rotation is ignored. (tried to place a tower with the ladder facing forward. tower always faces backwards.)

The towers should be able to be placed at any rotation. Maybe what you are experiencing is the locking on to another piece which rotates to place automatically. I'll make sure you can actually place rotated but it really only a visual thing as the towers work in 360º

some issues i found:

- the hordes are very frequent. exploring the map might be problematic, as you have to return to your base to defend the attack, so you can't really go anywhere.

Upgrading your home actually slows down the frequency of the hordes letting you explore more of the map.

- placing things with the controler seems to be flimsy from time to time. ex: placing a tower on a specific tile. you have to use the right stick on the controller to not "wanky" it. then pressing A is kinda hard, unless you hold down the right stick with the left hand, and then fiddling around with the controller.

I'm gonna allow a piece to be placed using the attack button as well, this should fix the awkwardness.

- apparently finite fuel. it's no fun when you can't make fuel on your own in any way. maybe a 200 - ressource - pumpjack, like unturned had it? (so far have not played too much, never got to any gas station)

You actually collect the fuel from any of the many cars around the world. There are also 4 Reservoir tanks you can find which increase your total fuel.

- towers don't have a big range. placing a tower on the top left corner in the camp (inside) doesn't allow it to shoot the zombies on the right. so i have to go out and deal with them myself, instead of entrusting the safety of my base to some random chick i just found.

I'll Increase their range a bit but the goal was so you need various towers to protect all sides

- repairing (is it even there?). zombies will munch on my wall. there's the issue that apparently you can't repair walls, just upgrade them. and i don't know how much durability is left on them. how can i be sure that my high level steel wal isn't going to burst by the next rotten shambles?

Everything not destroyed is repaired automatically after every Herd. I tried adding health bars and repairs to the build objects but it makes the game seem much more complicated.

- UI-annoyance: especially when playing solo, the boxes in the corners (press X to join) can be a bit annoying at times. i get it, i don't have any extra controllers and(or friends. you don't have to rub it in my face 24/7. can't you just disappear after maybe 15 seconds or so?

I see what you mean, the game actually started as a multiplayer experience so much of that is in its core. I like the reminder that players can join in at anytime as long as you are in the camp or at the entrance of a dungeon.

- camera rotation. especially useful when trying to place towers directly into the corner of walls, being able to know how far exactly away they are might be useful. but meh

The camera moves to a topdown view while placing object to facilitate placing things around. Ill see if I could make it a bit clearer.

and last but not least: online-multiplayer?

4 people always in the same location is surely fun, but we can't divide workload. everyone has to do the same thing (defend, explore, etc). if we have multiple people, at least let some of them explore the map while the others defend the camp.

There's future plans for Online, we just want to get the game out there and out PlayStation first. One plan is to have separate 4 player groups with different camps sharing a world, which you can fight each other or work together.

after all, great game, great concept, lots of potential. cute graphics, maybe not enough blood, but fun nonetheless (until your base gets inevitably mawled by zambros). would've wished for more survivors though, i'd like to place 4 towers at the corner and just set off trying to get the goal stones :D

There are 12 survivors that are each playable with unique traits, attacks, and can be placed as towers. Thank you so much for playing and for all your suggestions and issues found I'll have these bugs fixed as soon as I can, tomorrow the latest.

yep. saving in general doesn't seem to work for me. pressing enter just adds a new character. i can remove him again by holding escape thoug, but the save symbol at the top just never disappears.

not being able to go into any quest-related building is really a bummer for me.

even with the highest tier of base i somehow still feel rushed to go into the city, do things as fast as possible and then return to base. what if i just want to take a stroll? :D (or try to find any other characters besides lady with gun at the left and police girl shouting "find my friend" then dying to a zomzom).

the idea of having to find characters for towers is nice, but you have a hard time finding those characters. they're more like colectables, and with a constant horde approaching, you don't really have time to spend half an hour exploring a part of the city.

the traps and spike ideas are nice, but having to constantly replace them doesn't seem to be worth the hassle.

the walls repairing themselves after each horde is nice, but i still have no clue when they break. do i have to rush to the wall and smash the zombies there, before they tear it down, or can i take my time, lure a bunch of zombies into my traps, while the other zombies peacefully enjoy their wall-meal? a health bar would be nice to have, especially since the wall already has a hidden "durability"-stat. no point in hiding the condition of a wall, if it has a condition.

online multiplayer AFTER ps4 release? sure, i can understand that you want to make a couch coop game, but on the pc, there isn't really a market for such a niche genre. take a look at overcooked for example: fantastic game, if you have friends sitting next to you. everyone is asking for online multiplayer, because their friends are sitting on the other side of the world. online multiplayer would boost the popularity of the game massively, and waiting for it after ps4-release might be hard, as such late in development, adding online functionalities surely becomes a hassle, as everything in the game has to be changed around for it to work with the multiplayer scripts. either you add it now or never.

but yeah, apart from not being able to advance (or save, even though i started the program as administrator and such), the game is still fun, but because of the aforementioned issues, it quickly loses it's appeal. maybe if i would be able to convince a friend to play with me... oh, wait. doesn#t matter anyways :D

Developer

Hey gabgab01,

I just updated the game to Version 1.0.2 Fixing many of your problems:

yep. saving in general doesn't seem to work for me. pressing enter just adds a new character. i can remove him again by holding escape thoug, but the save symbol at the top just never disappears.

There was a problem creating the save file directory on Windows and Linux which is now fixed. I also realized that the Start Button on XBOX style controllers weren't working this is also fixed. You can now autosave and press Pause to manual Save.

not being able to go into any quest-related building is really a bummer for me.

I'm really sorry about this I work on a Mac so I didn't realize this problem was happening. This has been fixed in Version 1.0.2

even with the highest tier of base i somehow still feel rushed to go into the city, do things as fast as possible and then return to base. what if i just want to take a stroll? :D (or try to find any other characters besides lady with gun at the left and police girl shouting "find my friend" then dying to a zomzom).

the idea of having to find characters for towers is nice, but you have a hard time finding those characters. they're more like colectables, and with a constant horde approaching, you don't really have time to spend half an hour exploring a part of the city.

You can actually see the location for many of the survivors in the Map by using Back on Xbox controllers, Select or Touchpad on Playstation, or Tab on PC. 5 of the survivors are fun secrets to find.

the traps and spike ideas are nice, but having to constantly replace them doesn't seem to be worth the hassle.

I'll look into making them last a little longer and or maybe some upgrades for them

the walls repairing themselves after each horde is nice, but i still have no clue when they break. do i have to rush to the wall and smash the zombies there, before they tear it down, or can i take my time, lure a bunch of zombies into my traps, while the other zombies peacefully enjoy their wall-meal? a health bar would be nice to have, especially since the wall already has a hidden "durability"-stat. no point in hiding the condition of a wall, if it has a condition.

To solve this problem I've been thinking of having the wall physically change as it gets destroyed. If it doesn't solve the problem I'll adding the health meters back in.

online multiplayer AFTER ps4 release? sure, i can understand that you want to make a couch coop game, but on the pc, there isn't really a market for such a niche genre. take a look at overcooked for example: fantastic game, if you have friends sitting next to you. everyone is asking for online multiplayer, because their friends are sitting on the other side of the world. online multiplayer would boost the popularity of the game massively, and waiting for it after ps4-release might be hard, as such late in development, adding online functionalities surely becomes a hassle, as everything in the game has to be changed around for it to work with the multiplayer scripts. either you add it now or never.

The Game started as an 8 player Online Multiplayer so a lot of the code is built on is ready for Online. The online Mode will also be Separate from the Main "Story" mode. We feel Couch Co-op games are a dying breed which is unfortunate really, and online really slows down the development process as theres a lot of back and forth to test things. I want it to be in the world first then build an online that the community can really get behind.

but yeah, apart from not being able to advance (or save, even though i started the program as administrator and such), the game is still fun, but because of the aforementioned issues, it quickly loses it's appeal. maybe if i would be able to convince a friend to play with me... oh, wait. doesn#t matter anyways :D

Please use the itch app to update it or re-download a build, the new patch should fix these problems you're having. Hope you can give it another go. The game will continue to improve as daily as I can.

Your Suggestions and Issues are greatly appreciated. Thank you for playing and for your time

Great game - I've run into the same problem as Eas3r so far with the game failing to save (Linux 64-bit Intel, Nvidia GPU [more detail upon request]).

The guide at the beginning is awfully demanding - sometimes he moves and his "area of movement" circle actually confines me to a section of the base without walls. The solution was to select "move" then Esc, which seemed to delete the wall. First of all, is there a better way to remove placed items. Also, could the AI be somewhat more patient about waiting for the player to leave the area before moving back towards town?

The camera-pan-to-enemies after first reaching the base is somewhat slow to start. I thought it was the game freezing or being in an invalid state because while I could swing, I couldn't move.

I also noticed that some menu's asked for certain key-presses, especially to exit certain prompts (Shift when you first learn to build, clicking to attack/aim/shoot). It would be great if, while the prompts are visible, the actions are not done.

At least for me, exiting out of Options required pressing Enter not Space.

I was going to try manual saving but I had trouble finding it.

Again, fantastic game - I look forward to seeing where this goes (esp. with multiplayer!)

Hey Kennethdhau,

I found this problem happening on Windows and Linux the new update v 1.0.2 should fix these problems for you

I'm planning out ways to refine this experience I definitely see what you mean about him being a bit demanding. I've seen how few play testers get trapped inside the walls as he starts to make his way to town, I do like how it teaches how to move objects out of the way which is why I kept it in there. Yea "ESC" seems like a weird button choice on Keyboard the game is really developed with a Gamepad in mind. Any suggestions you have for the Keyboard/Mouse controls would be appreciated. I'll definitely keep working on this part.

The camera-pan-to-enemies after first reaching the base is somewhat slow to start. I thought it was the game freezing or being in an invalid state because while I could swing, I couldn't move.

I want to add dynamic letterboxes (The black bars at top and bottom during cinematic) to help emphasize that what he is saying is important and give more sense to the not being able to move thing.

I also noticed that some menu's asked for certain key-presses, especially to exit certain prompts (Shift when you first learn to build, clicking to attack/aim/shoot). It would be great if, while the prompts are visible, the actions are not done.

I like the feedback you get instantly, are you worried about wasting the bullets? If you can clarify a bit it would be great

At least for me, exiting out of Options required pressing Enter not Space.

You should be able to exit options with space if you navigate to Resume in the menu I'll Look into this.

I was going to try manual saving but I had trouble finding it.

Manual save is in the pause menu which is only active after the small tutorial is over. You can also only save while in the world map as the dungeons are randomly generated.

Again, fantastic game - I look forward to seeing where this goes (esp. with multiplayer!)

Thank you so much for playing and all your feedback, with your help and others like you this game can grow and be even greater. It's only up from here. Please either re-download a build or use the itch app with its automatic updates it will keep getting updated constantly.

Regarding the action-out-of-prompts - on occassion I find myself destroying things I don't mean to destroy and such. This could be trees or corn - I definitely think the immediate feedback is great, but perhaps for melee actions, it the animation doesn't actually cause things to be destroyed, moved, etc.

I haven't played multiplayer yet, but does the number of enemies or drop from trees/plants scale with players?

I'll keep an eye out for potential laptop keybinds.

Also, as of the last update, saving and moving to a new zone both work!

Yea maybe it would be better if the first swing after the prompt didn't hit anything.

Yes the number of enemies in the world and in the herd grows according to the current amount of active players. The trees and plants don't scale but as the amount of workers grows you end up collecting more things together.

I'll keep an eye out for potential laptop keybinds.

Also, as of the last update, saving and moving to a new zone both work!

Thanks for the suggestions and confirming on Linux!

Rafi

I noticed that after leaving regions (cave, church, etc.), the regions go back to being dark (as if they had never been entered). Is that deliberate? I wasn't sure what had changed between attacking the orb and not.

Also, and this is more related to itch.io, but on the desktop app there doesn't seem (as far as I can see) any wrapping system to run commands on top of the game. For example, on Linux, to get the game to run with nvidia, I need to call primusrun <executable>. Would it be possible if, at least on Linux builds, the game entrypoint is a bash script? Something like

#!/bin/bash
./DontBiteMeBro_v102_LINUX.x86_64

so that Linux users can modify it to include the their choice of wrapper?

(1 edit)

not sure if someone already found these bugs

- smashing the bottles during the tutorial before getting the gun the screen gets stuck on controls

-had one zombie disappear in the beggining, apparently it killed the base or something and got the message which i was under attack overlapping with controls and shift to build

Developer

Hey Bellcranel337,

Thanks for finding these issues I'm adding a fix to the update I'm working on now!

Thanks a lot really I appreciate it,

Rafi

(1 edit)

found a couple more bugs while playing 1.03, not sure if others found them yet

-getting out of car near girl scout on bridge, got out fine but got stuck on bar of the bridge, had to use esc, car also completely disappeared after this point

-leaving game open for about four hours leads to shadowy blotches all over the map

-collected excess gas from having full tank before entering cave, ever since gas has been infinite

-can plant trees and chop them, leading to using stumps to block zombies

-trash cans dont respawn in left city after killing them all (even reloading game to get sherrif, so its hard to find a donut)

-not sure if its because of how long i had the game open, but had problems saving, and using the menu via enter and space (e.g. moving down to save and using space would get off the menu and cause player to dash)

-also ran into a problem when using esc to have survivor log out in camp and logging him back in led to me being unable to drop off resources to the base until i used esc to log in and logged back in (think it might have overlapped with an event or something)

-when a horde destroys your base and you're inside of the car when the character respawns at base, can press e again to enter car and car ends up in a dark space off map and you get outside in that space

Developer

Hey,

Thanks so much for this one never noticed it was happening, will have this fixed very soon

-getting out of car near girl scout on bridge, got out fine but got stuck on bar of the bridge, had to use esc, car also completely disappeared after this point

I was able to fix this in update 1.0.4 out now

-leaving game open for about four hours leads to shadowy blotches all over the map

Theres still a lot of optimization left to do hopefully I'll be able to fix this very soon

-collected excess gas from having full tank before entering cave, ever since gas has been infinite

I was able to fix this in update 1.0.4

-can plant trees and chop them, leading to using stumps to block zombies

I'll try this out and see how i can't prevent it being used

-trash cans dont respawn in left city after killing them all (even reloading game to get sherrif, so its hard to find a donut)

The emptied trashcans are saved, you can always find donuts in dungeons also

-not sure if its because of how long i had the game open, but had problems saving, and using the menu via enter and space (e.g. moving down to save and using space would get off the menu and cause player to dash)

Opting out should remove the resources held by a player so that the fast travel can't be exploited

Thanks a lot,

Rafi

The shop interface could use a bit of tweaking. If you stand in front of the item you want to buy and hit space you just dash. You have to rub yourself against the item and then hit space. This will then dash *and* buy the item.

Developer

Hey Timeslice,

Yea the store was an older feature before some game design changes I made I'm fixing this now in update v 1.0.3 should be up really soon. I'm also adding more stores around the world and dungeons with variations.

Thanks for letting me know,

Rafi

Win 10 64b PC Ati X290. Some observations and opinions.

-Graphics artefacts and clipping issues. Beating things on the bridge makes the loot fall right through them so that makes sense.

-Shop interface is wonky as Timeslice already mentioned.

-When the sheriff dies, all friendly NPCs outside seem to die with him. (multiple youtubers had the same happen) NPC in general are too vulnerable. The one in the hospital was surrounded by zombies when I spawned in and he was dead before I could get a shot off.

-Combat barriers in dungeons (cave, church, hospital) are tricky. If you don't fully commit or run back out as soon as you spawn, you run the risk of being locked on the outside with no way to bring the barrier down. Reloading seems the only way out.

-You can enter and exit dungeons for infinite ammo if you so wish. The pistol isn't all that anyway but it's probably not intended.

-Beating panels off cars regularly ends with the panels dropping on top of the car with no way to get them off. Irritation diminishes enjoyment.

-Building placement is quite frustrating at times. Harvesting corn that was planted behind a tower is also quite the undertaking.

-Going back to the menu resets all options back to default.

-Seemingly unskippable intro. Less of a problem now saves work, but a bad idea for any game.

All in all an interesting little title. Keep up the good work.

I know the truck is really flinging the dead zombies in all sorts of weird ways and also going through walls and stuff, I'll fix this as soon as I can. Do the bones fall under the bridge? I'll fix this in the next update 1.0.3

-Shop interface is wonky as Timeslice already mentioned.

Yea I responded the intentions for the shop fix will be in the next update too

-When the sheriff dies, all friendly NPCs outside seem to die with him. (multiple youtubers had the same happen) NPC in general are too vulnerable. The one in the hospital was surrounded by zombies when I spawned in and he was dead before I could get a shot off.

Thanks so much for this I was wondering what caused them to disappear! will fix this right now. The NPCs respawn when you enter and exit a dungeon so they're never really gone for good. I have some ideas to fix this problem and it not feel unfair when they die before you get them

-Combat barriers in dungeons (cave, church, hospital) are tricky. If you don't fully commit or run back out as soon as you spawn, you run the risk of being locked on the outside with no way to bring the barrier down. Reloading seems the only way out.

Yea someone just mentioned this to me when they tried to sneak into the room. I'll make sure to fix this in 1.0.3 also

-You can enter and exit dungeons for infinite ammo if you so wish. The pistol isn't all that anyway but it's probably not intended

This was actually on purpose as the dungeons regenerate every time, but I'm changing it so that the entrance only gives you bullets 1 time per Herd so you have to enter the dungeon to really get them. The shopkeeper will also sell bullets for bones

-Beating panels off cars regularly ends with the panels dropping on top of the car with no way to get them off. Irritation diminishes enjoyment.

Ahh great to know i'll make sure they stay in reach

-Building placement is quite frustrating at times. Harvesting corn that was planted behind a tower is also quite the undertaking.

Is this a visual problem? I'll try it out and see whats going on with that

-Going back to the menu resets all options back to default.

Oh I never noticed this was happening. update 1.0.3 will fix it

-Seemingly unskippable intro. Less of a problem now saves work, but a bad idea for any game.

You actually can skip the intro by holding Start/Options/Enter theres just no visual indicator I'll add this in too

All in all an interesting little title. Keep up the good work.

Thanks a lot for the feedback I really appreciate it,

Rafi

a problem I found is thst when the guide takes you into town it pulls up the controller map for a new button it just freezes.

Developer

Hey Bob,

He should be showing you the button for checking the Map. I noticed on the XBOX controller its a bit difficult to see that the Back button is lit up. Could you be a little more specific on the situation?

Thanks a lot,

Rafi

I have a Logitech controller is there a compatible button? it would show the map and you have two buttons start and the back buttons I pressed both of them and I could not do anything.

Developer

Hey Bob,

are you on v. 1.0.4? I think I fixed your problem but please let me know if you're still having a problem.

Thanks,

Rafi

Do the bones fall under the bridge?

Yes they do. Car panels too. For the bridge pieces over the water this means the loot is lost forever and for the ones over grass means the loot despawns before you can get to it though.

-Building placement is quite frustrating at times. Harvesting corn that was planted behind a tower is also quite the undertaking.

Is this a visual problem? I'll try it out and see whats going on with that

The upgraded towers are very high. When corn is behind that you can't see multiple rows so harvesting becomes hitting blindly all around you in the hopes you get everything before you replant.

For building placement, it seems to favour placing it next to something already there, making it hard to place something in a void when other structures are around that void.

Developer

Hey Mantric,

I'll make sure the loot stops falling under in the next update.

I'll try and fix the visibility behind towers as soon as I can.

It's difficult to find a balance between the snapping into place and allowing the player to be more precise. I'm not exactly sure on what would be the best way to go about this. I've been playing around with the idea of adding another button press to avoid the snapping or maybe an option in the menu to turn off snapping? any suggestions?

Rafi

This is just personal preference, but I liked to use the lower right corner of the structure as the mouse location and snap it to the lower right corner of the square the mousecursor is at. With a maximum of x grid squares from the character's position. I have no idea how you coded your grid and it's to be multi-platform so I have no idea if that's feasible.

Like I said; Personal preference. I'm sure you'll figure it out or can ask someone more knowledgeable than me. Good luck!

Great game, obviously lots of bugs and still a lot more content needed, but overall great game. Loved it. Didn't stop playing until I beat the game. If anyone has trouble getting into the hospital or last dungeon, use your car to ram into it(youll lose the car because itll be stuck but at least you can finish game) thanks for fun time!

Developer

Hey Tiakamine,

Thank you so much for playing!

Sorry about the bugs still ironing them out as I find them, please let me know any issues you had or bugs found, it would really help out. Did you have trouble entering the hospital? I'll make sure to fix any problem there.

Theres still much more to come, new features and map areas soon,

Thanks again, stay tuned!

Rafi

This game is fairly well done, but I'm finding that I'm at herd 26 or 27, with 54 or so zombies spawning, the game crashes? I have a High-End PC, so it does make sense that so many Entity's are spawning at once, but it just doesn't make sense why it keeps crashing.

Developer

Hey Moeyyy,

Sorry about the performance with the game theres still alot to work on to fix performance, you should be able to see hundreds of zombies at the same time. I'll make sure to check whats going on with that crash and try and fix it as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for the support and feedback,

Rafi

There is one problem when you put a tower the people in it have like a 1/10 chance of hitting something and when they shoot 1/2 the time they shoot the tower they are sitting in. So I cant trust them by themselves because they almost never hit their target and cant hit thing up close.

The person with 4 girls in the bus when you complete the quest the girls wont get in the car(not sure if they cant) And the guy who gives the quest suddenly disappears and then suddenly when you reload the game he is there and it says take me to your camp with the 4 girls back in the bus but you cant bring him anywhere he is just stuck there.

Last glitch by the bus sometimes if you get out of your car you can glitch under the ramp to the town from the highway

Developer

Hey Delightbobby23,

Sorry about the bugs many of them have been fixed in the latest version of the game, using the itch app will let you get automatic updates

the tower problem was fixed in update 1.0.5, you can update now to 1.0.6

the girls cant get into the car because its a bit of a mission to get them home safely this way, the camp counselor should be working ill make sure to check it out and fix it if its not working properly.

do you mean you appear underneath the highway getting out of the car? I'll make sure to see whats going on with this

Thanks so much for the feedback, I'll get to the bottom of these and fix the problems as soon as possible,

Developer

Hey Firestar,

Thanks so much for the support, sorry you're getting this problem,

not entirely sure what could be causing this problem but it seems to be something with the graphics card. I would suggest you try a different resolution. If youre not getting the resolution choices when launching the game if you hold the ALT button you would see a selection of different resolutions.

Please try this and let me know if it works, I'd really like to help you out,

Rafi

Lol i got a intel core i3 1,70 ghz with integrated gpu and 4ram

40fps on simple

Exactly my point

Just bad optimization, it'll get fixes

Developer

Hey Everybody,

The game still has alot of optimization to go, the problem is not with the graphics its actually fairly simple graphics which any modern graphics card should have no problem running the game even at max settings, the problem is with the cpu. All the physics in the game is very taxing on the cpu. I'm working on fixing this so that It can run smooth on the PS4 aswell,

Stay Tuned! Thanks so much for the feedback,

Rafi

Try using a game optimizer, select the folder with the .EXE in and boost it. If that fails. free up space, unpark drivers or move it to a different drive.

Reply with the outcome please! :D

~Daddy Bleach

Did what u said, I got plenty of space, Drivers already unparked, and moved it to another drive... Nothing, + I launched it as administrator.... Nothing

I really think it's just a problem with compatibility between my Graphics Card and the game :l

Possibly, maybe in future updates it will be compatable.

make sure it fits your pc specs, 32 bit and 64 bit so make sure it's the right one also

Developer(+1)

Your graphics card should be fine to run the game even at max setings, the game is currently very taxing on the CPU instead. If you try turning off the blur it will be less taxing on the video card but I'm assuming you have a good enough video card where this will hardly change the framerate.

Optimizations coming very soon,

Rafi

Completely disregard my previous issue, the problem was with my computer, it's sometimes really slow, nothing to do with the game :)

Developer

Hey Yoni,

Thanks for clearing this up! hopefully the optimization will let the game run much better on even slow computers.

Stay Tuned!
