I like the idea of using the snake to build platforms :D To me, this is a new and unique concept. I think my view port didn’t had the right size. I could move off screen and sometimes the fruit spawned partly off screen. Also, if the background tiles would align with the “game tiles” it would be a little easier to navigate.

Great work, this is a really nice submission :)

The game was fun, and the concept was great! Though I'd recommend having some kind of game stopping if infinite loops and some kind of break on dying, because a lot of times I was confused as I didn't think I hit anything

Very cute! I enjoyed the blend of mechanics, this could be really interesting with some more puzzles. It does need a timeout though... I made an infinite loop on the first portal level XD

Cool game idea and works pretty well overall!

Really nice game, though I had some trouble understanding the game and was a bit too hard for me. Still really good game nontheless

Fun concept! Some notes, if you don’t mind?:

When the snake crashes into itself there’s no alert, no indicator, you just instantly get sent back to the start, quite jarring. In the future, I’d recommend adding some kind of animation to show the player their death! Like a huge explosion or something of that nature.

Also, why doesn’t the ball bounce against the top, right, or left sides of the snake? During the portal level, I tried boxing the way to the check with my snake, only to see that ball just straight up flied through. Very strange!

Other than that, it’s a good game! Nice job.
