Cool game idea. I had a lot of fun to play your game :)
Your Artstyle is percetly smooth and consistend. The chainball mechanic was a great idea, even though the ball somethimes glitched behind a wall. You did a great job! Thank you for participating
Thank you for the feedback and hosting the game jam, we had a ton of fun (and a little bit of frustration due to some UI bugs).
Love it, great idea!
I have some feedback on the gameplay: Personally, I would like the gameplay to be a bit faster, perhaps through more damage from the start and the removal of the "pull ball feature".
You should definitely keep working on this idea!
Thank you for the constructive and valuable feedback. For me personally the game provides the most fun when the pacing increases too. During the devlopment I had my "developer mode" where I could just smash through the walls and get even stronger. The more chaos, the more fun. We are actually considering building up on the general restricted movement idea, but yeah the balancing should beoverhauled to a great extent. Thank you for your comment
Like i mentioned in a comment on a different submission a few Minutes ago.
I really love good pixelart and your artstyle is super cool :D Reminds me a lot of the 90s
Thanks alot! The first inspiration was Doom and I remembered a game from my childhood in the 90s which was like some kind of Doom for kids.
I played Doom, not when it came out, way later for the experience (I turned 30 this year so I wasn't around back then). The artstyle reminded me of that. But your controls are way better :D
WOW! Amazing gameplay! The ball was such a cool mechanic and it was really well balanced and the game gave me the feeling of breaking out. Great job team!
Thanks. The idea was a bit crazy first but I'm glad this worked so well in the end. ^^
