F* you and your jumpscares! :P

Also I'm sooo jealous of how you did the lighting, sfx etc. Really smashed it out of the park with the environment design.... I forgot I was playing a game for a sec.

anyone who hasn't played yet. headphones is a 10/10 rec.

I think as others have said corridor is just a tad long but I found myself enjoying the vibes nonetheless.

Excited to see what you create next!

Unreal Engine buddy, yeah ! :>

It was a bit too long of a corridor, but I have to admit that the first jumpscare really got me.
Good use of light to guide the player, while also being very pretty.
Lacks a bit of SFX for my taste, such as the squeaking of metal doors or the creaking of manual doors.

pretty cool overall (Also, big respect for making such a huge option menu)

Thanks!!
I tried to make a slow-burn game and that's why the corridors were so long. But i must admit that at the last, that one corridor might ev' pulled you out from the experience.
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing :)

Loved the utilization of lighting in Unreal, and the sound is amazing. Jump scares were great too though walking through the halls got bit monotone by the end haha. Great work!

Developer

Thanks!!

Yea, I must admit that, I will try to make it better after the jam ends.
Thanks for feedback and for playing :)

Big plus on the sound design and atmosphere.

The sound design was great!
I couldn’t play with headphones (mine broke and I haven’t been able to buy new ones yet), but even without them, I could tell how well-polished the audio was!

Developer

Thanks!!!
I spent a lot of time layering and mixing the sounds, so hearing that it still worked without headphones honestly makes my day :)

This had good sound design, atmosphere, and visuals. but was lacking in a lot of other places, it was tedious walking around really long hallways in one single direction without much happening, and the instant camera jumps/cut to black with text really pulls away from the experience/immersion. I think this can be something good if you spend more time iterating on gameplay and the horror.

Developer

Appreciate the honest feedback! I get what you mean about the pacing — I was aiming for a slow build, but I’ll try tightening it up next time. Glad you liked the atmosphere and sound though :)

This was deficiently the best series of 'jumpscare' sequencing I have seen from any game in this jam. Very impressive!

Developer(+1)

Wow, thank you so much!!!
I’m thrilled the jumpscare timing worked — that was exactly what I aimed for  :)
Your feedback means a lot!!!

The atmosphere is great and of course visuals! but I must say, backtracking the same corridor was a bit tedious.

haunted CAT ;P loved it and jumped on the first one

Developer

Thanks!!, it's one of the best compliments i can get :)
I will make sure to follow your suggestion for the next game
Thanks a lot for playing:)

Oh, please, rate this new one game /jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3962987 nobody rate this, everyone must go from one game to another to be a visible...

As simple as the environment is geometry wise, I think it looks amazing and does a good job at setting the atmosphere. I did find myself getting a little pulled out of the experience by the end because I was walking for so long but its a solid entry even if its not the most complex mechanically.

Developer (1 edit)

How much would you rate it out of 10?

Anyways
Thanks for playing; )

And, your feedback was really useful.
