Congrats on placing number 1 in the Jam!
I do love games that tell a good story. Older movies from the 50s and earlier tell stories in such a way that I haven't seen captured in modern film, and yet somehow this project scratches that itch for me all the same. Well done!
To be honest, I haven't seen such a stylish design in a very long time! Bravo! 5 ★
this one was really special - i think the aesthetic of an old movie really gave it a unique feel, and the “clicker game” format really lends itself to a game about the printing press. the mass market books having way more pages, too, kind of emphasised the drudgery of printing something you’re not passionate about - while for shorter, local author novels, the clicking is snappy and more fun
well done!!!
Really enjoyed this and wanted to see what would happen in the story. I'll try to play through again with less integrity to see what happens.
