Nice little game where reflexes play a big role. At times I didn't really have a good understanding of what was going on, maybe due to the lack of feedback on some parts. Like sometimes, I would block an attack without having clicked the block button, or my enemy would be dead but I would still be able to hit them - or I died, but I would be able to continue playing, sometimes it was hard to tell what was a bug and what just wasn't being communicated to me, if that makes sense? However, I really liked the strategic gameplay of having to figure out and predict your opponent, and that was fun! The style of the game was also cool and fall-esque. Plus it sounds very cool that all enemies have randomized patterns, etc. Good job and thanks for participating in the jam :)

Cute game! I would have loved it if I could full screen it, and the game was a little hard to see at times. But the game was fun and cute!
Nice one! Made me think of the old school browser social games haha
Good job!!!
Good job ! especially as a solo developper ! You did great and don't worry about the few bugs, it's a jam. The "yo-yo" physic is rly smooth and fun lol. The turn-based fight system feels a bit slow though. Again, good job !
I like the presentation, even though it's not a very cozy game. Quite stressful, actually. I either don't understand how to play it or the gameplay is insanely difficult, as I couldn't get past Baba Yaga. The difficulty ramp is too big.
Still, congratulations on your submission & good work!
A pretty cool idea, but it was a little hard to play. I think it has a lot of potential though!
i really love the music for this, but the battle mechanics were difficult and buggy. once i got to the baba yaga enemy, i i could barely land any hits and i just kept living despite having zero health. eventually she just kept on blocking so even when i managed to land a hit it wouldnt do any damage. the art seems a bit overly symmetrical too, but it clearly had quite a bit of time put into it and was quite nice!
I liked the swinging effect of the player and the nice background. But the start was a little to fast and the font not so good to read, so that I couln't read you nice story at first try. And sadly I didn't get even one hit in. I think it is a little too hard for me.
But stay on the swining mechanic. That's really fun! With more hit impact on the enemy I could see how this could be a fun loop.
I'm really pleased you got to play, I was worried most people wouldn't make it past the intro as it looks and feels broken. I ran out of time at the end and it was a rushed finish - the intro took a hit and unfortunately the text isn't very readable. Did you really not get a hit? If you get the bar in the orange or green you should (tapping space or right mouse button)
I've just added a couple of screenshot of the intro to the game page so you can see how it was supposed to look! It had a little conker king falling from a tree and the crown being stolen, it isn't half bad but unfortunately I moved the images behind the background by mistake during the rushed submission. I very nearly didn't make it!
Good feedback on the hit impact, it was on the list but I ran out of time. Will certainly finish this up after the jam! Thanks again
yeah, I can totally understand, that one has to make sacrifices in the end. Good you made it in time!
And I think I got hits... at least I got it in green and then it says "perfect", but I didn't notice a change... But maybe I didn't understood the three options. Haha, don't worry. Keep it up - the swing mechanic is very satisfying.
Hey nice game! The mechanic is quite interesting!
Small points: Sometimes I am a bit confused on what is happening, and the enemy takes a bit to much time to think, which breaks a bit the rythmn you were going for (I am guessing).
Anyway, I could see this turning into a really engaging game!
