Hi everyone!
As many of you have noticed, Rings Of Titeia - The Ava Build is out now! You can download the game on my itch page!
The game has been downloaded a couple of hundreds times already, which is microscopic on an internet scale but perfectly fine by me since this is a small, free project, and I received some very nice compliments from some of you about it, so thank you very much!
One of the new features of the game beside Ava herself is the new EXTREME difficulty. It is meant to be hard even for experienced players. Or just for those who just want to "check what I've been doing with those animations all this time", if you know what I mean. Anyway, for those who would like to beat the game in this difficulty level, I recorded a playthrough for you to check where and when to use your abilities and how to avoid some difficult situations :
I'm always super eager to receive feedbacks (except for the traditionnal "ThErE's No SeX iN tHe GaMe?!?"). If you have any, or would like to create content with the game, feel free to contact me via X, BlueSky or by mail.
I hope you enjoy the build.

The game is really nice !
My thing when I play a game is having some kind of goal (other than just finishing it) while I play, like unlocking costumes, colors, playable characters, artworks, etc.
It gives some extra motivation to keep playing.
Here, I could totally see something like unlocking characters colors between each run (using some kind of resource or currency), to motivate players to complete the game.
Or maybe a gallery with artworks, like the one on the ending screen
My ultimate kink is costumes, but I know that’s a lot (probably too much) work ^^’
Thank you!
I was considering making the color palette an unlockable, but it didn't make much sense to me to make players clear the demo to unlock it and to have them clear it again eventually.
Extra characters is something I tried in the original build and I'm not considering doing it again for now. That said, once I get a consistent version of the final product, this could be the first thing I do afterwards.
The artwork gallery is definitely on my list!
And about costumes, well it's very, very complicated when you work with sprites. Unless you have a team of graphic designers, this alone takes hundreds of hours. And I'm working on the game alone ':D
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
