I like the setting and idea, had some fun playing this. Quite liked the dash ability paired with being able to jump back to the teleport position, that was nice.

I did find the shooting a bit odd how you always fire in rounds of three, and some more impact in hitting and killing the enemies would have been nice.

The game gives a good first impression, an art style that stands out and core mechanics that feel fun to use and while I had fun with it, it left me wanting for more as I don't feel like I really got to use those mechanics a ton or see that style flexed to the degree it could be.

I wish there were audio sliders since the audio mixing is tuned pretty high and SFX overpowers the music.

A bit more impact on enemy kill would be nice, they kind of just disappears without much fanfare.

Overall, I think this is a good base that I'd love to see expanded upon further since I do see potential in it.

Fun game with great visuals. I wish the gameplay forced me to use the dash and relocate ability more.

I love the one color art style, it really sells the futuristic vibe of the game! The dash mechanic was really nice. It felt really nice to use especially with the ability to move back in an instant. I can see this game turning into a bullet hell game and I think it would work beautifully. Overall great game, simple idea yet there was more to it than first meets the eye!

Cool game and artstyle, unique movement, addicting game loop. I enjoyed mastering the shift ability. The shooting ability was really fun too - trying to line up as many enemies as I could. I wish the enemy projectiles stood out a LITTLE more visually so they could be more easily tracked in peripheral vision, but this was really fun.

Thanks! I really appreciate that feedback,  that’s a great point about the projectiles, and I’ll definitely look into making them stand out more after jam.

absolutely beautiful looking game, I kinda wish there was more enemy variety but doing anything feels 10x cooler with all the effects and the aesthetic of the whole thing, the effigy system especially felt really good to use like a 2 part dodge. Well done!

Hi rusTVz! I just played your game, Hyperwave Drive, and it is looking PHENOMENAL! The artstyle and the visual effects are awe-inspiring to look at, and the gameplay is actually pretty unique. It's kind of like a horizontal space shooter, except that you have free range on where to aim and plus, you're on a highway. But what I've noticed about the game is that the game doesn't really fit the "Transport" theme, but that's just me being picky. Also, the sound effects for the shooting is a bit too loud for my liking. I would prefer adding an options menu, to at least lower the volume down a bit. Overall, 3.5/5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looking pretty clean, rusTVz!

Also, if you would check out my game, Delivery Berrie, and rate it it'd be very nice of you, and I would very much appreciate the feedback! Thanks so much! ❤️📦🎮

Thanks for feedback! I'll be so real, for the first 4 days of the jam I thought the theme was "Transportation" because I am illiterate 💀, but thanks for rest of feedback on visual and audio stuff too I'll be sure to check out your game whenever I have time.
