The basic concept of having to park your car perfectly has potential but I think the current two levels aren't enough to fully judge how fun that idea can get.

The second level being brake only is interesting but it goes for a bit too long without any indication that you'll eventually park, this should be communicated a bit better I feel.

The game is also maybe a bit too unforgiving? A system that rates you for how accurate you are may be a better fit than a simple pass/fail.

I think there's room to make some cool levels with this setup with the addition of more mechanics so I'd be interested to see the concept taken further.

I'm honored to be reviewed by Chew Chew Train developer (BTW amazing game), thanks for your feedback, I know there lot of things that could be done in a better way, or at least get polished a little bit more, but thanks for your feedback!

I'll try to make some updates in a near future, for sure I'll add some indications during the level, lot of people said about this point.

Again, thanks for your time and you did an amazing game with Chew Chew Train, congrats!

Though the execution could have been a bit more elegant/forgiving, the concept is really cool and I enjoyed the music/art!

Developer

Yeah sure, lot of polishment could have being done, thanks for your feedback, I'll make it better in other opportunities, again thanks!

Fun idea, if a little punishing. I would have liked for there to be a bit more leniency on how much you need to be in the spot to continue, especially with the second level and how long it is. Though the idea is fun and definitely could be expanded on, even if that means more levels.

Developer

Totally agree, I was planning to add other levels and vehicle selection, but due to the timebox and my experience, it was not possible, thanks for the feedback man!

I really liked your game, but a very short game but it's fine. basic artwork and mechanics but I really like the accuracy calculation. I feel like your game is missing out something not sure what. but I good try and a good game. all the best for your game dev journey. looking forward.

if you get some time, do check my game and give feedback, it would be really helpful.

Thank you

Pretty short game. On the level with the van, i got confused. Not controlling the gas felt kinda bad and not seeing any indication for where i had to park made me question where i was going. Some indication for off-screen parking spot would be nice. Another thing that got me confused is distance counter in the corner, because i thought i was going away from the parking, not towards it.

Developer

Hmmm it makes lot of sense, never tought about how confusing distance view could be, thanks for the feedback!

This is one heck of a good game right here! I understand that this was made in a hurry, and that this game is your first ever game on itch.io, and I feel the same way too. Plus, I really love the physics-based driving mechanics, and how the game actually detects on how well you park, and I can definently see ways on how it can be expanded upon in the future. The gameplay kind of reminds me of Trials Rising by Ubisoft, with its physics-based driving mechanics, though instead of trying to reach the end on time, you're trying to park specifically at a parking spot, and if you get like a 90% or above, you move on to the next level, and the art really reminds me for when I was starting to get real good in pixel art while I was doodling around in Piskel. It would be nice to have a few "rrr" sound effects coming from the cars, but what matters most is the gameplay, and it is executed phenomeonally. Overall, 3.5/5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐

Also, gustavo-flor, if you have the time, if you would check out my game, Delivery Berrie, and rate it, i'd be very nice of you, and I would very much appreciate the feedback! Thanks so much! ❤️📦🎮
