It felt so good to stack up those speed boosts and not worry about steering. I'm sure with a couple more card choices this game will become way more fun than it is. Looking forward to seeing the updates.
Very unique idea, I'm not sure how well card game and racing game mix with each other but I'd be curious how you evolve the concept in the future.
I'll echo what others have said the racing line as well as a more proper end to a race would have done a lot in actually making me want to try different decks to see which one leads to a better result, as is that's a bit hard to do
The current variety in cards is a bit limited to really see how good this concept is so I hope you'll add more types that synergies with each other.
Really cool unique idea! As a big card/board game person, this was an awesome mashup of genres you'd expect to conflict with each other (but worked really well together). I definitely want to see a more fleshed out version of this with more clarity and readability. I'd love to see more mechanics and synergies in the cards as well, perhaps ways to chain together combos and generate more energy. Of course, it needs a ripping fast soundtrack too!
I loved how this is a deck building game mixed with a racing game! Really a unique game. The way the cars move is fantastic. I'm glad this game is a WIP because I would love to see where it goes! It has a lot of potential and in my opinion is already a really fun game! My only criticism is that I couldn't tell where the laps reset. I don't know if I just missed it because I focused on the cards and building speed. Other than that great concept and great execution!
Very happy to hear that and glad you liked it! I have a lot of ideas for where to go next with this project and will be updating in the coming weeks.
Thanks a lot for the review!
Really cool concept, I love how floaty the hover cars feel. Could have done with some "end goal" to round out the experience even if it was "complete X laps", or to lean more into it being a race against other players, but I understand it's a WIP and I still enjoyed playing nonetheless. Nice work!
Thank you for the review! I absolutely agree with you, it's currently lacking a strong objective and game loop. I'll be fixing that in the coming weeks.
Glad you still managed to squeeze some fun out of this bare-bone version.
PS: Also thank you for organising!
CdZero, now, this definently isn't your fault, and I completely understand that your entry is still a work-in-progress, but this game ran HORRIBLY on my laptop. It felt as if I was watching a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation 5 seconds at a time, but I tried my best to analyze the game, and give you the best review from what I've "played". First off, I really like on how you can choose a limited number of decks to upgrade your car in order to get an upper-hand advantage in the game, but the art definently isn't the best I've seen, and that there's no sound. To be completely honest, that's all I really have to say about it. I just wished I can actually play this game and analyze it more so I can actually give you a good review, but overall, 2/5 stars, ⭐⭐. I really hope you can address this review and keep working on this game, and I'm sure it's going to turn out as your best game yet! ❤️❤️😁😁
Also, CdZero, if you have the time, if you would check out my game, Delivery Berrie, and rate it, I would very much appreciate of you even playing my game, and giving me feedback, whether it's good or bad! Thank you so much if you do! ❤️📦🎮🕹️
Hey Joshington, don't worry about it, totally understandable 🙂
Thank you for giving it a try, and sorry for the slideshow experience.
For future reference could you please share with me what browser you used and, if you know, your computer specs. It would greatly help me identify what went wrong in this case.
Have a good one!
