I'll echo some of what others have shared that some aspects of the game are janky (axis-locked movement, offset collision).

The puzzles are pretty simple and they don't evolve too much since you just always put the orbs in a similar order. It would be worth trying to mess around with those ideas more or add more elements to make the puzzles less of a todo list.

I don't think putting a red orb into a yellow slot or a blue orb in a green slot is super intuitive, confused me a bit.

Also.. for a game called Mr. Orb a lot of the elements in the actual game are more like squares..?

Ya I just used a 16 x 16 canvas and it didn't work out much with circles, also school stoped most of my progress for my game so i didnt have as much time as I wanted.

I really liked the simplistic art style - it made the colors stand out really well! Collisions can be tricky af they're honestly something I'm still struggling to get a good grip on in Godot myself. Overall it was a neat lil game, and could definitely see myself playing more after a patch update for the things folks mentioned below. Good job!

Thanks for the great comment

pretty simple puzzle game, the hitboxes are pretty hard to deal with, though you already know that I did manage to get to the end without any significant issues though. I'm honestly pretty impressed with  how much you managed to get out of such a simple concept though it feels kinda hindered by the hitboxes and the fact you can only move in one direction at a time. Both of those can be easily fixed though I wish you the best of luck in your game dev journey, the ideas here are genuinely very interesting

chaospotatogames, I really don't want to be mean at you for Mr. Orb, and I completely understand that if you're a beginner game dev using Godot, but I actually wanted to like this game and support you. Like, I really love on how you can pick up color-coded orbs and place them in the correct box, and there are even some stage gimmicks layered around, such as you placing the red orb into the yellow box, and then put the blue orb into the blue box, then go back and take out the red orb from the yellow box, and put the red orb in the red box, but as I got to the third level, right when I put the red orb in the yellow box, I noticed that I couldn't go back. I tried to see if there was a very specific collision that I needed to go for, but I couldn't go anywhere. Real good job on taking an interesting concept of picking up orbs and placing them in different directions, and as a simple puzzle game. This is some really good work!!! I'm really sorry, chaospotatogames, but I think I'm going to have to give my lowest rating: 2/5 stars. ⭐⭐. But I hope you keep improving as a game dev as a whole, and honestly, this game really feels relatable for me for when I was learning about game development with GDevelop in the past. 😁😁

Also, if you would check out my game, Delivery Berrie, and rate it it'd be very nice of you, and I would very much appreciate the feedback! Thanks so much! ❤️📦🎮

I sadly couldn't get past the second level. I placed the red orb in the yellow spot and then the blue orb in the blue spot, but then I couldn't get back over to the red orb. I wonder if putting the blue orb down triggered the yellow wall becoming active again?

Sorry about that. I cant seem to replicate the problem.  Is the sprite for the door coming back or just the collider? sorry for the inconvenience. Hope you can give it another try

Host

Just the collider is coming back

Ok thanks I'll do a bit more testing then

Edit: so either you did a glitch that is getting past me(very likely not good at testing this stuff), a hardware difference error(Don't know the possibility of that) or you just ran into the wall like I do all the time in this game.(also the hit boxes are kinda janky)
